SoBol — Restaurant in Greenwich

This place is a complete and utter disgrace. I have no idea who they are hiring or what the screening process is, but I’ve never had a more horrible experience at any store in my life.

The woman working there called me to cancel my door dash order because they were closing 2 hours early because it’s a “holiday”. It’s Mother’s Day, and it states everywhere online that they are currently open. I got over it, but quickly realized I couldn’t cancel my door dash order because sobol had already confirmed it online and stated that they were preparing it. So I called back, and the same woman answers the phone and says “hi were closed” and hangs up without me being able to say a word.

I have spent easily over $1,000 here and often go 5x per week. I sincerely hope this woman is intensely trained or fired. I have still not received my refund from door dash because even though I saw both her and another employee giggling and fooling around in the store, nobody answered my 10 phone calls trying to ask them to cancel the door dash order...

I was the manger here at sobol the oweners here take advantage of there works they are evading paying the workers time n a half overtime I work more than 100 hours overtime he tax my over time an paid me cash when he wasn’t even being tax he Also paid me for for one hour not time n half they still owe money to this day and they don’t wanna pay sobol is a disturbing place to work and the owner make they self look good but in all reality they are the worst to work for if you have kids that work in cos cob ask them why they don’t work overtime they will be sure to tell u the rest … this store need better management an should be closed down after paying all the ...

Sobol has become my go-to spot in Cos Cob for healthy and delicious smoothies and bowls! The açaí bowls are absolutely incredible - perfectly blended and not too icy or sweet. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during the busy lunch rush. The store is spotlessly clean and has a bright, welcoming atmosphere.
