Visited Besto’s this evening, 07/22/2022. Definitely not a good experience. When we received our food, we realized our napkin dispenser was empty and had to get some from an empty table. When my wife sat back down from getting napkins , she found the ketchup dispenser was empty. Once again she had to get back up and get another one from an empty table. The fries were more greasy than what either one of us cared for them to be, and the portions were on the small side in our opinion. The burgers were ok. When we were leaving, I went to the front to get a refill on my drink. From previous visits here, we were told in order to get a refill, the procedure is to get up from your table , go to the front register, and someone would refill your drink. An elderly gentleman also had gotten up to get a refill , and he and I were behind a couple placing their order. As we’re standing in line, a young man comes from behind the counter/kitchen area, and proceeds to a table in the dining room, and refills everyone’s cup that was sitting at that table who wanted a refill. He obviously had to see me and this other gentleman in line, but did not approach us to offer us with assistance in getting our refills. The couple left to go sit down. The lady taking their order went to what May have been the milk shake /ice cream area. Another young lady walked up and refilled the elderly gentleman’s drink, and looked at me as she walked off without offering to refill my drink. The lady at the machine just looked at me and never made an effort to come help me, or notify someone to help me. I forgot to mention that during this time, someone came in representing “Door Dash “ delivery, and they were helped almost immediately, after myself and the elderly gentleman got in line and waited. After waiting a few more minutes to see if anyone was going to assist me with my refill with no luck, we left the restaurant. Pitiful IMO. I’m not going to say I will not go back to this place, but it will be awhile before I set foot inside this restaurant again!!! So disappointed in this service tonight, especially after other visits here that may not have been perfect, but nowhere...
Read moreI've been burned 3 times by this restaurant. 1st time in its old location; dirty restaurant, bad service and the food wasn't fresh. 2nd time the new restaurant; order burgers over the phone go to their drive through and get our burgers. Told to pull around back and wait on the fries, that someone would bring them our. After waiting 20 minutes we have to go bang on the back door and ask if they had forgotten, they had. So that night we had cold soggy burgers and bland fries. This morning we went for breakfast, good nice service, but their cooks are terrible. We had coffee and the pancake breakfast. The coffee tasted like burnt garbage I don't know if it was yesterday's pot or what. The pancakes were dry, hard and tasteless. Bisquick mix? After finding 4 short hairs under my pancakes I stopped eating. Waste of money and never again. Only redeeming qualities are the cashier was friendly and the restaurant had pretty good decor. Read more:/ Went in to get a cup of water and the place reeks of grease so badly the 3 minutes I stood in line left me smelling like a McDonald's employee (no offense food industry workers. I've been there. Not your fault your uniform reeks man it comes w/ the awful, underpaid territory) It's barely been open a week. The floors are greasy, the employees all seem like they're burnt out, and for a place with an ice cream cone as its logo, it seems to be cranking out nothing desert-wise except for over-priced soft-serve. I'm giving it 3 stars because less seems unfair, considering I haven't actually eaten any of their menu items except their fries, which were at least hot and crispy. But... also the stink of the place and the generally unfortunate experience makes me wholly uninspired to try anything else.
EDIT: I tried the ice cream in multiple forms....
