UPDATE TO REVIEW: I ended up reducing the rating I’ve previously given Bigby Greenwood. I was told recently they are under new management now, which I suspect is what has changed their service and atmosphere since their initial opening. I do still love their coffee and convenience. The recent changes since their opening are just disappointing to a very loyal consumer. They have stopped offering their monthly coupon books - they occasionally have coupons listed on their Facebook but they have immensely scaled back on these offers. They’ve also very recently changed from offering their costumer’s furry friends pup cups (small cup of whipped cream and a off brand milkbone) complimentary with your order; instead Bigby now charges for their pup cups. Again, I still love their coffee and convenience, but I am not a fan of these changes. These changes just seem unwarranted and disappointing and are reducing their service to their patrons and their atmosphere. I will say they are still taking my loyalty card for point accumulation and redemption.
I have noticed that other Bigby locations seem to differ in some aspects, so I am interested to see if Bigby Southport has started these changes as well. Southport location does offer more coupons (on their Facebook - not the coupon books) and have always had complimentary pup cups.

Pulled up at Biggby, excited to try a new coffee place that isn't Starbucks. The walk-up window had a taped-up piece of paper with Sharpie-scribbles that reads "WALK UP CLOSED" - not a good look for a place that literally just opened a few days ago.
The drive-thru was slammed, which is fine, because this gave me plenty of time to check out the menu on their website to see what I wanted to order. NICE, they have really good-looking smoothies on their website! Get up to the drive-thru box/menu and HALF of the entire menu is blacked-out with masking-tape. Great. Ask for a smoothie when they take my order. "Sorry but the smoothies are discontinued, can I get you something else?" Record Scratch So YOU LITERALLY JUST OPENED at this location and already don't have half the items? I settled on an ice-matcha latte thingie, which would have been over $6 had I not had a coupon. Tasted like milk with maybe a thimble worth of actual matcha in it.. First impressions are everything, especially in Business, and this place made a lousy one on me, to say the least. Read moreI have always enjoyed Biggby (even back when it was called Beaners in Michigan), always loved their chai tea. Sorry to say I won’t return to this location. I’m not sure what has happened, but it isn’t the same. A few weeks ago I ordered three egg bagels, all three were cold eggs. They took my information and told me to come back to replace them. Today they didn’t hv my information so I couldn’t get my replacement sandwiches (just paid for new ones), further I ordered a chai and it was sour, they made it again 2x with same result (either the milk was bad or the chai base was bad and one would think they would make one to try themselves before giving me a new one that was spoiled)
There was a long line behind me so I handed the chai (that I had paid for) back to her and left without a refund (if I had asked I’m sure she would have provided but I shouldn’t have to ask….. she should hv said please don’t leave until you have a refund)
I hope others have better experiences as I do believe this is a great place, but they need some better customer service training and also need to monitor their quality and expiration...
