I have been shopping at this Kroger for over 25yrs. Letās begin with *Appearance- the store is a filthy mess. The shelves are disgustingly dirty, packages all over the floors, food spilled out, and the floors look as though they have not been mopped in a year. Stock - on a consistent basis, the shelves are sparse! There are constantly items that have a tag but no product! Why? Please don't blame the pandemic either, because this was happening way before the virus hit. Cashiers - where are they? There are customers that don't want to use self check out. One cashier on a busy evening is not adequate! Not to mention, self check has way to many people crowded in the small area. Why would this be ok? It is definitely not 6 feet apart. Produce Veggies/Fruit - Every shopping trip, I purchase fruit & veggies. I can never get all the fruit in one trip due to it being moldy, smashed, smelly, and far from fresh! Vegetables are awful as well. Even the āorganicā is less than desirable. To no fail, I end up cutting up my pineapple, grapefruit or strawberries and they are rotten or not ripe. The few watermelon I purchased over the summer, I ended up returning. No flavor and or one watermelon actually imploded the moment I stuck my knife in to cut it open! Never ever have I seen the condition the produce is in. Also, when purchasing other items, cereal, crackers, yogurt, milk... I cant count how many times the product is expired. Expired! What is the problem? Why is this happening? Why is this ok? My elderly parents even shop here, and it is just no longer acceptable. As a resident of Greenwood area, I am mortified at the conditions we are now succumbed too. Hoping many people like myself, stop shopping here. It is the only way to show management/owner we will no longer accept it. Shame on you Kroger! Fix the issues so our community residents can have a nice clean place to purchase edible food with their hard...

This is the second time my elderly father has experienced check fraud involving the Greenwood Kroger. That alone raises serious concerns.
Most recently, he wrote a check for $17 at a Kroger store. The physical check was returned to him showing $17, and his receipt also confirmed the correct amount. However, when he later checked his bank account, $317 had been withdrawn.
Despite numerous attempts to get this resolved, Kroger has offered nothing but delays, blaming their third-party check processing vendor. When contacted, the vendor pointed the finger back at Kroger. This circular blame game has gone nowhere.
To be clear: a Kroger cashier effectively stole $300 from an elderly customer. And given this is the second time itās happened to him, it would be naĆÆve to think this isnāt a more widespread issueāone that may often go unnoticed, especially by elderly shoppers who rely on paper checks.
As of now, there has been no resolution, no accountability, and no refund.
Kroger needs to take this issue seriously and ensure better oversight of its check handling process, especially when vulnerable customers are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave negative stars, I would. Consistently the absolute worst Kroger in the area, by far. In there multiple days a week, every week, and the produce is always almost completely bare. The bakery is a joke, with almost always nothing stocked. Went today and there was not a single loaf of bakery bread available. You would think with the volume this store gets, they would be able to maintain inventory to at least have a single loaf of bread available. Meat selection is consistently within 2-3 days of expiration. This store is consistently out of stock of primary food items and only ever seems to be stocked with random selections that nobody is buying anyways. On top of that, the customer service is absolutely wild. The āveteranā employees are rude as hell and never seem to want to be useful in any type of way, and the kid employees are like deer lost in headlights when it comes to simple assistance. Compared to the new Bargersville location, I have no idea how this place is still in business other than the sheer convenience of location. Will only ever be stopping here for absolute grocery emergencies...
