Hardee’s — Restaurant in Greenwood

If possible, this location would be a negative star! Went there today, 11/9 at approximately 4:00 pm. My order was quite simple, a 5 piece chicken strips, not a meal, no drink......just chicken! I pulled up to the window and paid. I was asked to pull up and wait. I waited 12 minutes, anticipating fresh chicken considering I was the ONLY CUSTOMER! The employee came out with my order. Before pulling away, I removed one from the box. It was cold, hard and dry as a piece of cardboard. I spit out that first bite and backed up to the window. I explained the problem and handed them back. After scowling at me she very rudely said "pull up and wait, we'll cook more". I pulled up and waited another 14 minutes. After pulling away, I grabbed for a strip. It was warm, not hot and EXTREMELY OVERCOOKED! The breeding was hard as a rock and was more like gravel coated chicken jerky! All five pieces were placed in the trash at the BP station. When you charge $8 for five little strips of chicken, the least you could do prepare something that resembles edible food instead of five day old road kill! Terrible location!...

So Im here wondering, after leaving my comments before and the owner responding and seeing all these negitive comments and all of us still receiving the crappy service?! What has changed in a year?! Absolutely nothing? Why is the rude manager STILL THERE?! Can you not find a replacement. My husband went the other day for lunch in the drive through and she continued to talk trash to him and be rude over the speaker and then was laughing with employees talling junk about my husband and still had her mic active where he could hear her? They continue to get orders wrong, serve cold food, never have soda stocked, tables to wiped off, sticky floors, no one can make a millshake in there for crying out loud and the bathrooms are always a mess! So is this an owner issue with lack of training and not holding the staff accountable for their actions..this is why you will continue to lose money. So unprofessional no one wants to go there! When I entered the restaurant at 11:45 AM at the Greenwood, SC, Hardee's on Hwy 72 , I was the only customer present. I spoke to the cashier and said, Good morning. How are you today?" She made no response or eye contact. Just grunted about what I wanted to order. I placed my order for a combo. When the sandwich was ready, she was nowhere in sight. In a minute she came from the back carrying a package of cups and kicking a large box of napkins scooting them along the floor. She then put my sandwich and fries in a bag and placed it on the counter. Again, no eye contact and no acknowledgement of "Here's your order," or question if I wanted ketchup. Another customer had arrived by then, and seeing the poor attitude of the server, had a bewildered look on her face.
