Absolutely horrible experience. I went into mattress firm to purchase the Serta iseries 1000 medium. The price was $2,099 and I ended up not liking it. I also purchased a mattress protector for $150. The employee told me that it would not impact the quality of the mattress. The mattress did not give the support it advertised. I started developing back, shoulder, and neck pains that would wake me up throughout the night. My sleep quality drastically deteriorated over time. I felt like I was going crazy trying to get a good nights sleep. All over the website it says to just give the mattress time and it would become comfortable. I ended up taking the protector off for a couple of nights and it improved but then went back to being uncomfortable. By this point I knew I wanted to return it. My mattress firm card took multiple phone calls, deleting my account and reopening it and running my credit twice to finally arrive in the mail. This process took about 7 weeks. When I got the card and set up my account I saw the balance was $2,407. Everywhere online it’s advertised as “120 night trial, love it or your money back”. This made me confident to shop with mattress firm, however this statement is misleading. At the 6 week mark I looked up how to return the mattress and I noticed that in the fine print it mentions very briefly that there is a $250 return fee. I was not made aware of this fee when I was purchasing the mattress. I decided it would just have to cut my losses and foot the fee which I did not know existed. I wish I had been told about the $250 return fee prior to purchasing the mattress. I also saw that mattress protectors were not eligible for a return so that was an additional $150. I calculated that in total I would end up paying about $400 and save myself the other $2,000. I went to the store ready to return the mattress and was told by the employee that on top of the $250 return fee there was a “restocking fee” of an additional $250 dollars. This wasn’t listed anywhere in the 120 night trial info. In total I ended up having to pay around $700 on a mattress that ruined my sleep for 8 weeks. I am extremely upset that there was no clarity about any of this when I initially purchased this mattress. I would have never purchased it to begin with and saved myself the time, effort, money, and credit inquiries. I do not recommend...

My wife and I were looking for a new mattress, and wanted to explore memory foam instead of just continuing to use an inner spring mattress. Even in this crazy year, we were able to receive a pillow shield and pillow and could try each bed we desired to. We were supported all the while with information and answers to our many questions, but we were never intruded upon or pressured by the manager/ salesperson. She asked us questions and then gave us all of our options, her experience and opinions. She was patient, attentive to us and very helpful. After learning our comfort preference, we narrowed it down to a Tempur Pedic medium or a Serta hybrid medium. Both had their advantages, but the Serta won the day. After that, we were led through the purchase step getting a great price and a delivery arrangement that worked for us. I was happily surprised that in our online shopping world, you can still get great customer service and selection in person, and not have to travel to a bigger city. My wife and I enjoyed our shopping experience for a new mattress, which is usually a "mundane job ". On our initial visit we met Lauryn. Even though it was close to closing time, she made it clear that we should take our time in product comparisons within the store. With her smile and non-aggressive approach, she helped us narrow down our choice with her informative product knowledge. We ended our initial visit with a gracious low offer from Lauryn. Upon our second visit we encountered the manager, Michelle, where she picked up from Lauryn's notes and proceeded without exception. Michelle continued educating us on the pros and cons of different mattresses and confirmed our selection as the best fit for us and our budget. In addition, she graciously offered us an outstanding price for an adjustable base. At no time was there any pressure to buy.
