My girlfriend and I tried it today for the first time... First things first. The chicken was fresh, tasty and succulent. Top notch. The dining room was very crowded and we had a hard time getting drinks and lids due to the way the tables are cramped and too close to the drink station... We ordered the 8 piece "Meal for 2" for $20+ total. The amount of tenders and fries was sufficient. It came with two small cups of ranch, which is obviously not enough for two people. Extra cups are 65 cents each... Which isn't terrible, but now I'm expected to stand at the back of the long line all over again for two cups of extra ranch. Not happening. So now we're finishing our food with no ranch. And while I was standing at the counter waiting to inquire about the extra ranch, four different employees made eye contact but completely ignored me like I wasn't there. My overall recommendation is: The chicken is good. The service sucks. The dining room experience sucks. If you're gonna come here, go through the drive-thru. Avoid the lobby altogether. Update: Before leaving, we went to refill our tea, and BOTH of the "Southern Sweet Tea" containers were unsweet... Not a drop of sugar. Thanks a lot Tasha, for providing us with a truly...
Read moreSo let me preface this by saying that I absolutely love Huey Magoos. But today, I decided to try their salad because I’ve been hearing a lot about it. Today specifically, it was absolutely horrible. I got the grilled chicken on the Huey Magoos cranberry walnut salad. The salad was lettuce, cranberries, walnuts. With grilled chicken on top and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
The flavor of the chicken was really good, but the texture was so tough. I couldn’t even chew it. And it bent my fork.
I’m definitely not used to this low-grade food. So I was a bit shocked. The salad was over $10 with tax and I’m definitely throwing it away. It was not worth it whatsoever. Unfortunately even though the chicken has a great flavor I can’t eat any of it. Do...
Read moreI recently visited Huey Magoo’s, and it was a great experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was clean and welcoming.
I ordered the chicken tenders meal with fries and toast, and everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside — and the signature Magoo’s sauce took it to the next level. The fries were golden and seasoned just right, and the toast added a nice touch to round out the meal.
The service was quick and the atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for a casual bite. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing food to-go, Huey Magoo’s definitely delivers on...
