If you're a fan of hearty, flavorful meals and supporting local gems, this Gyro & Grill spot should absolutely be on your radar. Tucked away like a small spot on Madison, this small business delivers big on taste and hospitality.
Their meat over rice is the star of the show I feel. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and served in a generous portions that leave you full and happy. They also offer a solid range of other options if you're in the mood to try something different, but trust me, the meat platters are hard to beat.
The staff here deserve a special shoutout. Friendly, patient, and genuinely committed to getting your order just right — it’s clear they care about their food and their customers. That kind of service is rare and really adds to the overall experience.
The only small critique I have is about the white and red sauces that come with the meat over rice — they’re decent, but there's room for improvement in flavor and consistency. That said, I’m confident they’ll continue to refine it as they grow.
Local spots like this thrive on community support, and this one truly deserves it. Delicious food, outstanding service, and a team that cares — go give them a try and...
Read moreWow what an amazing restaurant with a friendly staff who treat you like family! That in itself is worth all my business. I ordered the Chicken and Lamb mix combo along with a 2 Piece Samosa.
The samosa arrived first and they were piping hot! Served with a tamarind sauce and a green chili sauce. Vegetables were tender and the cubes of paneer inside were so good! I definitely recommend applying some of the green chili sauce, really ties it all together (it is not that spicy). The tamarind adds a new layer of sweetness that works well.
The main star of the show was my Chick&Lamb it arrives with a salad and rice. Let me tell you that Fresh doesn't even begin to describe everything. The chicken and lamb were seasoned to perfection. Rice was amazing! Add some white sauce to your salad and enjoy it with the chicken and lamb too!
I am taking home a Mango Lassi and some Cheese Naan for later.

Read moreWe took a to-go veg platter, samosa and dahi bhalla chaat at the Columbus Ganesh Festival today. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. The samosa had a weird flavor, chaat had very peculiar smell making it un-edible while kofta and paneer curry lacked Indian flavors. The roti was 3 times thicker than regular roti and almost felt like pita bread. The mango lassi was thinner than regular with artificial flavor and chai was overly sweet.
The only edible food was white rice.
I hate to waste food but we had to throw away more than half of the food.
I wish the owners looks at this review as a constructive feedback to improve their food quality and taste but we won't be trying to again.
I am shocked to see how others have given high ratings unless food served in restaurant is of different...
