Yesterday I decided to dine at one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I approached the counter and was promptly greeted. The clerk made suggestions and took my order. Before she finalized the order, I decided to get something different. She said that the half and half meal would be the better option. I then ordered the half sandwich and a spud along with a sweet tea. The order was finalized and I was promptly to pay. For some reason the system kept showing approved on the card reader but it never registered on her side. I was asked to insert my card again. This happened a total of four times. I then pulled up my banking app to see if the plight was on my end. My transactions showed four pending charges from McAlister. After showing my phone to the clerk she then proceeded to reach put to her manager. She proceeded to tell me that she don't know what else to tell me because the system is still asking for a payment. Her entire demeanor changed. I didn't want to make a scene in a crowded restaurant. I then asked for her name and her manager's name. Ruth was the name of the rude clerk. Ruth told me to bring my bank statement back and show the manager once I get it. Ruth refused to give me the manager's contact info. I paid using a different card to see if it would be the same issue. This time the system accepted the payment. Instead of Ruth handing me my order, she walked off. I had to get another clerk to give me the food items that I purchased. The young clerk apologized.
You guys could have left Ruth at Churches Chicken somewhere. We do not need to be experiencing her piss...

Now 4 weeks later I return and it's less busy. I place an order again to give them the 3rd chance to get my order correct and they still got my order wrong. The food was cold the same just incorrectly made and the management does not answer any other reviews. Asked for one and watched the food preparer in the back have to be asked TWICE for my "pickle plate." She fixed it and sat it down. 😳😳 She eventually handed it to the girl up front after being asked again. How SLOW, clueless/unaware of your customers! What should've been 10-15 mins in an near empty place at 7 pm on a Wednesday took about 30 mins because slothfulness....
