Read moreI have been going to this location for years and really Loved it. However, over the past 6 months or so I've noticed a drastic decline in the service. Particularly in the orders. The last five or six visits The baristas have routinely gotten my order wrong. I am severely lactose intolerant and have requested almond milk and have received regular milk. During the holiday season I ordered a chestnut praline latte and received a gingerbread latte.
This morning, I ordered a grande caramel macchiato and requested three pumps of the syrup instead of its usual for. I was told by the barista that they only put three pumps in a grande, which I know is inaccurate. When I got to the window and older lady handed me my hot caramel macchiato without a sleeve. I requested a sleeve because the drink was very hot. She replied that they don't normally give sleeves anymore? This same barista in a previous visit told me that they do not do the green anti-spill plugs anymore either.
This is the only location that I have had to request basic service and sleeves for hot drinks, which are now apparently not normally done at Starbucks?
I have been trying to give the benefit of the doubt to this location but I'm sick of spending my money on a specific drink that I do not end up getting. Read moreToday was absolutely wonderful. I brought my mom and little girl in for a drink and treat. Had a lovely conversation at ordering with Chloe. We get our drinks, my daughter drops her cake pop so upset (we don't live near a Starbucks) miss Chloe was so pleasant and sweet and gave her another one. We were about to leave and my clumsy daughter dropped her pink drink all over the floor and didn't even get to drink it. I ask for mop, picked up as much ice as possible. I apologize and she was so sweet like it wasn't a bother at all. As a mom these scenarios can be terrible. I didn't expect for her to fix her a new drink, I said I'll pay for another one but insisted. That is wonderful customer service. Both girls were so polite.
