BEWARE! TO THOSE WHO LOVE GREEK FOOD AND HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! *Long post ahead* My wife has been wanting to try Mythos for a long time now and so we decided to stop in today for what we hoped would be a quick lunch. When we entered, the restaurant was relatively empty. There were maybe 4 tables or so on the same side of the restaurant as where we were seated, however, we were put against the wall with no other tables around. We sat there for a while, long enough for my wife to say she needed to use the restroom. She told me what she wanted to eat in hopes that a waitress would be by while she was gone. We noticed earlier that there was only one waitress serving everyone on the other side of the dining room and she finally stopped by to take our order. By the time my wife came back, we had drinks on the table and I had ordered our food. Before the waitress walked away with our order, I explained to her that my wife is EXTREMELY allergic to tomatoes and that she is pregnant as well. She seemed to understand and away she went to put our orders in. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings with a side of ranch. When the plate was put down, the waitress placed two cups of ketchup in front of me and my wife...You know...The one with the tomato allergy?? My wife just pushed the ketchup away and asked for ranch instead, for the second time. The waitress quickly got us some ranch but never took the ketchup away. To be honest, the waitress was friendly but she wasn't very attentive as we sat without drink refills and she seemed to be too quick to talk over us, but I don't think that she was trying to be rude. Let's talk about portion size and pricing. For around $6, there were maybe 10 onion rings on the plate. Some of them were even half pieces, so it definitely was not worth the money. Our entrees were extremely dissapointing as well. We ordered two gyro sandwiches with no tomatoes, obviously, and some fries, assuming they came on the side. NOPE! I paid $9 for just ONE "sandwich"!! When the waitress brought the food out, she sat the plates of fries down and then walked back to the kitchen because both gyros had huge chunks of tomatoes on them. She came back quickly and my wife told her that she didn't want the gryo because she knew that it wasn't a new sandwich. She also said that we didn't really have time to sit around and wait on new food. The waitress wasn't listening and continued to say that the guy in the kitchen took all of the lettuce and tomato off the top and put new stuff on the same pita but that it didn't touch the rest of the food. We were dumbfounded! My wife and I both had to explain that just the residue could mean a hospital trip for her once again. She eventually had another one made quickly and we agreed to wait, so I ate while my wife ate her fries and waited on her gyro. I will say that was the WORST GYRO that I have EVER had, and I have had several over the 8+ years that my wife and I have been married seeing as though she knows a lot about Greek food and loves it. The "meat" is fake and frozen, with a spongy texture (see picture), not to mention they only put 4 pieces of it on the pita. 4 PIECES OF "MEAT" FOR $9!! The lettuce was preshredded and discolored. The tzatziki, while homemade, was extremely bland and the dressing they put on the gyro was like water. It made everything wet and soggy and the only reason why I ate anything was because I was starving by the time we got the food. My wife's pita was rock hard, and she only ended up eating the pickle that came with it and maybe 1 whole piece of the "meat" before she was ready to go. The waitress told me to take the gyro that she took to the back in a to go box for me and I agreed, knowing that I would toss it out later. I was charged $37 for two gyros, fries that should have come on the side of the "sandwich", an order of onion rings and two drinks. I paid $40 for that garbage!! NEVER AGAIN!! The owners should be ashamed for their price gouging and for cutting too many corners!! That is DEFINITELY NOT Greek food!

My family of three walked in to eat and our waitress was nice and quick to take our order, however it was all down hill after that. A large party was seated and their order taken before ours so we knew there may be a little wait, but we wait an hour on our food. While we sat there we had a basket of crackers that came out with the salads, each packaged drenched in oil so undoubtedly they just grab whatever is on the table and reuse it when they clean up. Our food finally comes out and I had a chicken Florentine where the chicken was so dried out and hard the knife couldn’t cut it and the noodles with sauce were clumpy telling me it had been sitting a while. I powered through and didn’t send it back because by that point I was hungry and knew I had a coupon for $10 off from an Attractions book sold at local schools which would almost cover it. We went to pay and didn’t even complain for the wait and food, and THEN were told we couldn’t use the coupon because my husbands sub sandwich plate didn’t count as an entree. Upon further review of the coupon in fine print it says they’ll add 20% gratuity to the bill when using that coupon so that’s a joke.

This place is a disgrace and has no right calling themselves authentic in any way. We ordered to go and received cold, old, hard, small food. Ordered spanakopita and the portion was mainly side pita and I was charged $10 for it. The personal “pizza” was cold, hard and tough and consisted of sauce and cheese thrown sloppily into a styrofoam box on top of pita… aren’t you an Italian place? Where’s the actual pizza??? My co-worker got the gyro platter and it was an absolute JOKE. Cold, hard frozen gyro meat and half cooked cold veggies. I don’t know how this place is in business. We tried to call and tell them what we got and they hung up on us. No way to run a business. I hope they close down. They should if they can’t even afford to serve proper food.

Geez. I’d like to start by mentioning that I am a server and have a good foundation on how a restaurant is run. This was the first time my boyfriend and I have ever been to this restaurant before and the reviews and photos looked promising, however the entire experience was just ridiculous. First I’d like to mention that this restaurant doesn’t even meet the bare minimum when it comes to staying safe and clean from COVID-19. At most, 75% of the servers were wearing a mask. The woman I assume to be one of the owners or managers doesn’t even wear a mask. They don’t seem to follow the 50% capacity rule and have no tables marked off. We came in and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. We finally got sat and the table was dirty. It wasn’t even wiped down. Our waitress got our drink and food orders and once the drinks were down we waited 45+ minutes for our food. In the meantime there was a party near by with over 8 people (not following CDC guidelines) and later they were setting up another table for a larger party - larger than 10 people - right next to us. No table was following the 6 feet distance rule. Once the food finally came out, my boyfriend’s chicken was dry and potatoes basically raw. The waitress was obviously flustered by her two parties and barely paying attention to us. I felt bad for her because I’ve been there, however I find that she could have still checked up on us or at least let us know why our food was taking so long. When we went to finally leave and pay for the check, the owner lady said nothing. Not even a smile, a “thanks for coming,” or “have a good night!” It’s pretty sad that the one in charge even hates her job. So if you’ve made it this far in my review lol, I think it’s plan to see that you should probably skip this place for...

The service was terrible! The food was not great and seriously over priced. Will not return and would not recommend it to anyone. The servers seemed to be all immature high school kids. Our server came and took our drink oder and never returned. He came back and literally jumped at our table. He finally came back but didn't bring our drinks. My husband was offered a salad and when he said no the kid said "good I didn't want to have to make it." We ordered a spinach pie as an appetizer. It cost almost $7.00 and was smaller than a hot pocket, it wasn't very warm and it couldn't be cut well. We had to ask another server for plates. The french fries seemed the really cheap crinkle kind you get at the grocery store, they were awful. The gyro sandwich was actually kind of tasty, but they had what seemed to be a whole onion on it and a whole tomato slice, they didn't bother to cut it up. When we paid the total sort of blew me away. And when I "dang, that is a lot what did we order. The lady at the cash register seemed to get a bit snippy and said you got an appetizer and 3 meals, do you want to see the itemized bill?! My husband was the only one to order a meal the other 2 of us just had the gyro sandwich was almost $8.00 with no side, just the sandwich. Completely over priced. We couldn't get out of this place...
