Finkels All American Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Gresham

Wasn't going to post a review as I thought this issue was between a specific bartender and myself. However, it's been a week since trying to get in touch with the Owner Vanessa and I have had no response or follow-up to the situation that occurred. Hopefully this notifies her and she will follow-up... original situation was regarding tip theft, so I wanted them to review the cameras. We will see if they save more than a week of video or if I'm SOL. Hoping for better service and if so would consider changing this review.

UPDATE: I have already reached out on multiple platforms, and I'm aware there are multiple owners, however you and I are connected on messenger and Instagram unlike Jeff. Unless you have blocked me on those platforms. Also reached out to the bar manager a couple times hoping to get a reply from Vanessa. Facebook originally wasn't allowing me to message the bar page, but upon your request have sent an additional message to that page now. We came here for breakfast. There was one person at the bar and our table of three. We ordered usual breakfast dishes of eggs, hash browns, toast.

When I ordered I requested basted eggs. The waitress and cook had no idea what this was so when the cook came out to ask me what that was, I explained how to cook them.

Then, after 45 minutes of waiting, the cook came out to apologize about the wait and she had a big order she was finishing up. Though I appreciate the apology, I had a hard time understanding where this huge breakfast order was coming from.

Finally, after 20 minutes of further wait, our breakfast showed up. The thin, flat portion of hashbrowns on each of our plates suggested they were at the bottom of their last bag and were making it stretch. On top of that, the food was luke-warm to cold.

The ambience is not hugely inviting either. To me it felt like your typical strip mall bar that serves food because they are required to by law but no extra effort put into it.

I wouldn't suggest this location unless you just want to drink and be within walking distance...

I stumbled my way in there today after going to the eye doctor down the road and I couldn't have been any more pleased. What a fun place. I was the first customer of the day and really wanted some lunch and had a cheese steak and tot and a beer and it was really good. I was nervous about asking the young lady working there her name as I didnt want to be the creepy old guy, but she was very friendly and make me feel welcome. another regular came in for a drink and the 3 of us had a good time just talking.
