Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Gretna

Even if I had seen that this specific location had such a low star rating, I would have still ended up going there. I did an online order. Because I was on a time crunch and originally I had made the order for a different store. But for whatever reason, when I hit order, it jumped to a different location on the online map and moved it to the store that I'm doing this review for. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. And when I got to the store to pick him up. They were not ready, and this was unfortunate because it had probably been close to 15 minutes before that I made the online order. So when I got to the store, I waited for about another 10 minutes. Now, to me, almost 30 minutes is way too long for 2 chicken sandwiches. The? Chicken was okay. My real complaint is the presentation. There was sauce around the packaging, so it got on my hands when I just touched the bag, and what really gets me is when a sandwich looks like it's been manhandled. You could see where it been smashed with the fingers and whatnot and? It's just very untasteful. The sandwiches we're overloaded with sauce, which understands some people might like. And there were no pickles on the sandwich even though I didn't specify note pickles. I'd say the only saving grace to the customer service was the young Kid, who was working behind the counhe was actually fairly polite. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this specific locatiand if it wasn't for the glitch on the online ordering, I wouldn't have go go there to begin with, all I would have to do is look at the reviews and see that everyone else had gotten s* service and s* Food as well. It’s Mardi Gras Tuesday so I knew ahead of time it was gonna be busy. Places my order through the app at 6 o clock . Arrived at 6:10, looked at online order stand and order was not ready yet. (Again , it’s to be expected it’s Mardi Gras which I was completely understanding of) Waiting until 6:25 and asked about order . Was given my 2 Large Cups with 2 Medium sized Lids. I patiently waited in line for lids and when I asked , was ignored . Patiently waited 5 more mins before asking again , and when I asked the cashier replied “ I heard you the first time when you asked” , finally received lids . I said thank you and patiently sat down. Multiple groups of families came in ordered, received food within 10-15 mins and left. This is when I started to get frustrated . It’s now 7:30 and although I was upset I never once lost my cool with any of the workers. I asked the same cashier about my order and she started yelling at me that they were understaffed and very busy. I didn’t respond , because I just felt very unjust about this situation. Manager noticed employee yelling and came over to help me. She asked the cashier where the ticket for my order was and cashier had been holding onto it. Manager made my order which was fresh but did not receive silverware , Napkins or the 2 extra Sweet Heat sauces I paid extra for . This wouldn’t have been a very big deal if I didn’t live in a hotel . I never once received an apology , and I do feel like racism was a big part of this situation . I would not like to say my skin color but , I was the only person of my ethnicity in the restaurant. I’ve never experienced a situation so terrible in my life and I feel I was treated very unfairly . I will be speaking with corporate about situation, I would definitely stay away from...

Had an issue. GM named Kendra. She told me to call them at a later time to solve issue because she was busy and to be fair, she was. Have been calling for weeks now and the phone stays on busy. Called 5 other Popeyes in a 30 mile radius and none of them pick up also. Popeyes is robbing humans and even the general managers not picking up. If you order online the stores in the city will rob you and you will never talk to someone about it. Please avoid all the stores and protect yourself until this is worked out and everyone safe. The city phone number is busy. YOU WILL GET ROBBED. AVOID ALL THE POPEYES ON THE WESTBANK AND IN THE EAST. PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN FOR VOODOO FEST AND LIFE IN GENERAL.
