My coworker and I went to eat there so we ordered a 16 piece meal with 3 large sides and I understand that they had to make some spicy chicken so they told us it would be out 6 minutes after we ordered. We stood there 15 minutes and I still had to ask what was going on with our order. Four customers behind us came and left with their food and we still hadn't gotten served. The chicken finally came out and it sat there for about 5 minutes before we were served. After they served us our food, we asked if we could have two boat trays (plates) to eat our food there and the young man said they ran out and didn't have any more. So we just started to make a mess on the table. Who's going to be able to eat every possible flake of crispy chicken coming off those bones? When we started eating, an employee from therewhose shift had ended saw us eating without plates and he asked us if they didn't give us plates so we told him they told us they ran out. He said "they didn't run out, I work here" he went to the back and got us what we needed. If it weren't for him, we would of made a big mess. As we were leaving, I asked the young man at the register if I could have two smaller containers so I can take for lunch tomorrow and he said he didn't have any more. He said he was down to his last two. He couldn't give those to me. The food was good but the service SUCKED BAD! It was not just bad service, IT SUCKED BAD! We will not be going back to...
Read morePopeyes, I don't know what's happened over the past two to three years but this is certainly not the same recipe or cooking instructions have been changed. This particular Popeyes, to say it's in NOLA, had greasy chicken, cold fries, and was surprisingly disgusting. The Popeyes in Riverview, FL was hit with health violations recently. The quality of food and service is gone. Trust me, I used to eat at Popeyes twice a week or at least 6 times a month. I may have eaten at Popeyes 2x this year and each time (Riverview and Harvey) was a significant let down. Gas station chicken tastes so much better now and the Krispy Krunch Chicken in Riverview off Big Bend has the best Red Beans running slap over Popeyes. It's. Ashame. So gne is the old past time of good ole Popeyes Louisiana Fried Chicken. Now I will say the savior is the Popeyes located in Joint Base McChord in WA. Tha manager has a secret others need to follow. I was there with my team in 2031 for a week and we ate at Popeyes everyday at lunch! Sadly, I shouldn't have to travel to WA to get the best Popeyes Chicken and service. Get it together corporate. If you need a QC Director, call me. I'm retiring from...
