Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Griffin

The only reason I am giving one star is so this comment will post. Yesterday I took my daughter and a friend here for dinner and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a person in management - Adrianne (spelling may be off) was beyond rude and unprofessional. We ordered our food at 7:30 and when finally received a few minutes before 8, the order was wrong and I was missing an item I had ordered. When I took my receipt and the plate that was wrong back to the counter Adrianne informed me that I was wrong because she had been standing there when I placed my order and that I did not request things a certain way and did not order the item that I claimed was missing. I handed her the receipt and showed her that it was listed there correctly. She rolled her eyes and snatched it out of my hand and said fine I will get you the missing item. I decided I didn't want to send my food back to be corrected because I was worried she would do something to it (I know, childish, but with her attitude I felt uncomfortable). When I informed her I would not need my food corrected she stated "I wont fix your food till you fix your attitude". At this point I am about to loose it so I walk away. When I return to get the missing item and my receipt, which I hold my hand out for, Adrianne will not hand it to me and is backing away from the counter with my items and taunting me - I reach across the counter and remove the item from the tray and put my hand on my receipt which she attempts to snatch back and tells me that I am being rude and snatching. I then ask for her name so I can make a complaint and she says "if you have something to say about me, then say it to my face"! I turn to just walk away as I feel that she is attempting to be threatening and intimidating and she says "yeah get your fat ass on somewhere". I have filed a complaint on the corporate website and am currently waiting a response. I was less than impressed with this visit. I ordered my food on the app and I don't like the new app, it seemed very glitchy. I forgot something on my order and tried to add it after I had placed my order but it wouldn't let me add anything or place another order. I went inside to pick up my food and still had to place an order for the item. The size for the "shareables" is getting smaller, barely a shareable size anymore, and I was very disappointed about the lack of sauce for them. They don't have marinara for the cheese bites anymore and they had made little ramekin cups of ranch for the fried pickles and there was barely enough ranch to cover the bottom of the cup. Very stingy and for the price it shouldn't be that way. Makes me not want to come back. Plus they didn't have any drink holders so it's a good thing I brought my daughter in with me or I'd be trying to carry 3 bags of food and 4 drinks to the car by myself.

Update 6-25-23: We had a great experience this time. We had a BOGO offer on the app so we ordered that before we left the house. When we got to Zaxby's the drive thru line was super long so we went inside. While in there we ordered another chicken finger combo, an order of fried pickles, an order of white cheddar bites and 3 cookies. The order we placed on the app was ready when we got there and everything was correct and it was hot and fresh. They did forget a piece of toast on my chicken finger combo but they fixed it right away. All of the employees seemed friendly and didn't get annoyed when I kept going up there asking for things. There was a guy walking around the restaurant making sure all the tables were cleaned off and the drink station was straightened up. He was doing a very good job.

Zaxby's is a fast-food chain that never fails to deliver when it comes to taste. The food is consistently delicious, and I always leave satisfied. The combination of crispy chicken and the signature Zax Sauce is simply unbeatable.

However, I have noticed that the sizes of the tenders have been getting smaller over the years. While the taste is still amazing, I wish they would bring back the larger tenders that they used to have. It's a minor issue, but I think it's worth mentioning.

Despite this, I still highly recommend Zaxby's for anyone who loves great-tasting fast food. The menu offers a variety of options, including salads and sandwiches, but the tenders and wings are what really set this chain apart. The breading is always perfectly crispy, and the chicken is tender and juicy.

Another great thing about Zaxby's is the cleanliness and overall vibe of the restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the dining area is always clean and well-maintained.

Overall, I give Zaxby's a four-star rating for its amazing taste and friendly atmosphere. While the tenders have gotten smaller over time, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it worth visiting...
