Consistently GREAT food! I have never had a mediocre meal here. They are kind enough to let my children order off menu as it's a bit fussy for their tastes (and not cheap), and even the burger or plate of pasta is so good my kids will tell me it's the best they ever had. It is a family owned and operated business, the chef's wife seems to manage the place and can be a tiny bit cranky when stressed but really most days she is just lovely, their son is often there and very helpful and we have nothing but wonderful experiences with the other wait staff. They shoot for perfection but sometimes that means you have to wait a bit for your food or service. They have a loyal group of employees but if they get busy it may seem understaffed and you may have to wait for a few minutes but that is the only way they can run a small business as they can't hire an excess of employees. I have never actually experienced an oppressive wait for service myself, but we are pretty happy to sip a cocktail and chat waiting for our food, and also don't hesitate to let them know if for some reason we are feeling ignored and they are always friendly and accammodating. Honestly this is the BEST food in the Pointes, you can't go wrong with anything here, even the bread...
Read moreThe service was great! The food was good. I ordered the French toast, fruit pancake (forgot the name), and regular pancake. The regular pancakes were great! The pancake with the fruit was delicious, but it was not as large as I thought it would be. It took about 25 minutes to cook so make sure you pay the meter for 2-3hours so you don't come out with a ticket. The french toast had a sauce on it that I did not care a lot for. The toast was cut into small chunks. Im glad I tried this place. I may come back and try the blueberry pancakes. The place was small, but nice and cozy lit chill place. Try it out. Make sure you get a good parking spot or park on the street by the...
Read moreToday was the first time here for lunch and it was amazing!!!! I order the open faced seared salmon sandwich. The combination was very unique. The salmon was served on grilled rye with roasted aparagus, spinach, cherry tomato and feta served with a side of roasted red skin potatoes. The entire meal was outstanding!!!! I admit, I ate every morsel on my plate. Next, dessert. I ordered the Frangelico creme brûlée and my friend ordered the chocolate mousse torte. I can't say one was better than the other, they were both delicious! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I cannot wait...
