Dinner at Antonio’s never disappoints! All of their pasta, chicken, veal, and fish are delicious. They serve a bread basket hot out of the oven. The portions are very generous for decent prices, and all of the meat dishes come with broccoli and a dish of penne bolognese on the side. I love eating outside during the summer. My favorite dishes are the pollo arrabbiata, pollo cacciatore, melanzana portofino, scrod baresino, and ravioli. For dessert, they offer an amazing almond amaretto cake, tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and lemon or pistachio gelato for dessert, however they cost $12. The waiters and owner are extremely nice.

Charming. An old school Italian restaurant in a charming part of Grosse Pointe Park. A family friendly restaurant without being adult unfriendly 😍. I went with a classic lasagna and it tasted like I was a “made man” in the Corleone family or something. Heaven! Atmosphere was classy without being stuffy. Midweek dinner and not much of a crowd so we were seated right away. I think my favorite part was tomato sauce that was used in the lasagna.

We had a table by the window and the seats were so comfortable. Could've taken a nap after our amazing meals, really hit the spot and the food was delicious!! Thanks Chef Brian and our server Grant was awesome too❣️

Subtle hit, or massive miss. New to town, we tried Antonio's a week ago and vowed to return weekly. Food was amazing, perfect salmon, seared and flavor on point, warm bread through entire dinning (a must at any good restaurant!), and our waitress was superb. True to our word, we returned earlier this week, a Wednesday night, 6pm. I called ahead for a party of 8, and understanding larger groups can be challenging. Gentleman that I spoke with said they were not busy at all, and they could accommodate. We arrived 10 min later, the table was set, ready to go. That was the end of the positives in this review... table of 8, 1 small 8" loaf of bread, never saw more until we were paying (2 hours later). Waitress/Manger was it. She said it was just her and Tony. She ran by like it was a marathon, half of what she said was unintelligible. When she did stop, she was short, rushed, and bordering on intolerant. Clearly overwhelmed with all the tables, but that is not the customers fault. Every excuse you can imagine, as to why we couldn't get more bread, from, "we have a small oven, every time it gets opened it causes the bread not to cook.." to "we only had 3 loaves and had to give them to the 3 new customers." Food took almost an hour to reach us, bland, the salmon was cold, no flavor. I can't even comprehend two such vastly different flavor comparisons. Everyone gave up waiting for bread and ate. Waitress, "Well, I know, I'm waiting for bread too!" Right before she brought the bill, she dropped off another single small loaf. "At least I'm able to get you your bread." When we got the bill, there was no mention of a discount for all the inconvenience or poor food quality. When I asked, she was blunt and said she couldn't do anything, but she'd ask Tony. When she came back, she just shook her head and said, "Sorry, Tony said no." I started to ask her if Tony knew, and she cut me off and said, "No, I'm not going to be the messenger between you and Tony." Wait, what? I could not believe how terrible this experience was, and we all suspect it is more thr common than the fluke after reading more of the reviews. Sad, potential is there, but clearly, the owner is missing some key business insight. Don't seat tables you cannot service appropriately, be honest, and tell customers you're low on supplied or staff, and most importantly, as a server, stop, take a breath, and speak slow and clear. Act like you appreciate the diners keeping you employed. 1 star is overly generous after the experience we had. Lost a loyal customer, guessing more...

Friendliest service! Delicious food! :)

I called ahead of time to ask if I needed a reservation and if they had a mask for purchase (I am housesitting in the area and wasn't planning on going out so didn't have a mask on me). The guy on the phone was very pleasant and stated a reservation was not needed as I'd be there in 5 minutes, and said he would hold the table for my party of 2 since it was a little busier. Got the table immediately when I walked in and he had masks ready to go for us!

When I sat down, I was worried the bread in the center of the table would be old, but it seems he had placed it there ready for us at arrival -- bread was still hot. :)

My absolute favorite indulgence in Italian food is butternut squash ravioli, and as luck would have it: it was the special. I was not disappointed!

Along with the gentleman on the phone/who seated us (I overhead a few regulars call him 'Brian'), our server was awesome too (forgot the name, sorry)! Both very friendly and...

Food was as always good! But we made reservations and it was a total mix up for my Birthday as soon as we walked in the door! I walked in and said we had reservations for three under Gordon, G-O-R-D-O-N. Our party and I would like to sit in the room away from the bar. She said no that was not possible. So we began walking towards the table with the reserved sign on it (as she was saying we only have a two top in here). As we approached the larger table with the reserved sign on it, she stopped us! That's reserved for reservations! As we all turned around at the same time and said! WE HAVE A RESERVATION! Oh I'm sorry I didn't hear you that you had a reservation. Ugh... So we sat in the next room, took 20 plus minutes for my Mother to get her wine (blamed it on the bar/bartender). Had to ask another server to find our server twice, and after all that I was somewhat happy with my meal, but would never, ever pay $102.00 for that again on...
