I called for a Hello Kitty ice cream cake to be made for a birthday. They said they don’t put pictures on cakes so I asked for hello kitty colors. I received light pink straggly writing and red heart sprinkles along the edges of cake. Not many either.. I would think they would put decor on the cake when I asked for a Hello kitty cake and they said they don’t do anything like that when I called back today to ask what happened. When I asked for the colors, I didn’t think I would get straggly light pink colors with some red hearts around the edges. Also when I called back to ask what happened, the store manager Kate was rude. Awful customer service! Do better. Do ALOT better! Ice cream is for the most part is good as are the toppings. The thing that sours the whole experience is the staff and the manager. I came in to check if there was a particular flavor I had inquired about months ago. I was told to provide my name and number and they would reach out to me when it was in stock. I walked in today to discover that they had the flavor I had asked about. When I asked the manager about not being contacted she laughed and told me the whole thing was a joke. She said they never reach out to customers. On any given day you get the distinct impression that that you interrupting their private conversations. The ice cream was fine and two of the employees were polite and helpful, but the manager was awful. We were the only people in there and she was rude and impatient. We bought 5 ice cream cones and an ice cream cake and you'd think we'd asked her to give them to us for free! When we asked if we could have sprinkles on the ice cream cake she literally yelled at us that she had already put them on. I normally wouldn't waste my time leaving a bad review, but this is an ice cream shop for goodness sakes! It seems reasonable to expect friendly customer service.
