The Guilford Town Green is one of the nicest and most spacious in the state and I've seen just about all of them. Boutique shops line Whitfield Street which is the "East" side of the green. There are no less than 6 restaurants within a stone's throw and also 3 historical homes you can visit (or view my 360° virtual tour on Google Maps) dating back to the mid 17th century (Henry Whitfield House). In the summer it's awash with people, pets and various events. If you're up for it you can even take a Segway Tour around our "quaint" little town. Most of our churches are located right here, and many shops that define the culture of Guildford are located here too. Not to mention the large expanses of grass open to tossing a football or throwing a Frisbee or the war memorial that honors the soldiers and there names. And Paige hardware for the things you needed around the house moroso has helped in so many ways I worked there! Get this.. if you can find a home on Guilford Lakes you won't regret I lived 1 block from the beaches who was better than me I guess by now you know...
