The Guilford Town Green is one of the nicest and most spacious in the state and I've seen just about all of them. Boutique shops line Whitfield Street which is the "East" side of the green. There are no less than 6 restaurants within a stone's throw and also 3 historical homes you can visit (or view my 360° virtual tour on Google Maps) dating back to the mid 17th century (Henry Whitfield House). In the summer it's awash with people, pets and various events. If you're up for it you can even take a Segway Tour around our "quaint" little town. If you do visit, pay special attention to the rooftops of the shops on Whitfield St and you may see an unexpected site or two.
