We came to your restaurant last night for the first time ever. The atmosphere was beautiful and the restaurant looked very clean. We ordered some items on and off of the happy hour menu. The only issue we had was with our server. Her friends came into the restaurant and sat behind us, and the focus of her attention was definitely on them. we asked for a dirty martini, it did not come dirty, she did not offer to take it back and remix it. She just brought us a shot glass of olive juice instead. The martini glass was filled to the point of overflowing so we were not able to add the olive juice, until after a few sips of straight vodka. She then returned with a straw and a side glass to try to take some off the top. We then saw other tables getting bread, we asked her if we could have some bread, her response was a simple, yeah and walked away. We ordered our food, we received our food, and I said I was supposed to have chicken with this, the food runner said, “well, did you order chicken”? Yes, I did order chicken. She then said I’ll grab your server and walked away. Our server came to us and said “well did you order chicken” I said yes I did order chicken I saw you write it down, she says well let me look in my book. Once she saw that I did in fact order chicken on top of my pasta dish. She said it’ll be right out for you. I’m not looking for a five page apology, but we were looking for just a little bit of niceness. These girls are working for tips and they are not working very hard at all on a Monday night, when there were many tables in the bar area. We like your establishment very much but just was very turned off at how rudely we were treated and our bill did come to over $150 and we did tip her 20% because I am not that kind of person, but little things like this can make a big difference in a restaurant pre-Covid or not, know one should act like that. We do understand that friends come in and everybody likes to chat and have a great time, but you’re still being paid to work, so you should not forget about your other tables just because a group of your friends come in...
Read moreIt truly pains me to write this review, as this has long been one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, our experience last night was deeply disappointing.
We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and were seated in the lounge/bar area around 5:30 p.m., hoping to enjoy the tapas menu, which I understand ends at 6 p.m. However, we sat for nearly 30 minutes without anyone approaching our table—not even to take a drink order (we tried to get their attention with no success). Yes, the restaurant was busy, but we watched both servers actively attending to nearby tables and then chatting behind the bar while we continued to wait.
We politely asked two bussers(who at least served us water) if they could let the floor manager or person in charge know, and we saw them do so. Unfortunately, the manager glanced in our direction but made no effort to address the situation. After waiting until 6 p.m., we left without ever being acknowledged. It genuinely felt as though we were being ignored until the tapas service had ended.
This isn’t the first disappointing experience we’ve had recently. On a prior visit, the bartender was noticeably short and abrasive despite our patience and courtesy. And during another dinner, I was served a mussel that tasted so off I had to excuse myself. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another chance—but sadly, last night confirmed that the quality of service has declined.
I typically prefer to address these issues in person, but since our concerns were disregarded at the time, I felt compelled to share this here. I’m truly sorry to say that we won’t be returning, nor can I recommend this restaurant for future gatherings or company events.
I hope this review encourages management to take a closer look at service consistency and staff attentiveness, as experiences like this can quickly diminish what was once a...
Read moreWe went to Quattro's restaurant on our lunch break, and met a friend. Our food was taking over an hour, and our waiter came by and told us it will be out in a minute. My friend replied that she had to leave, as her lunch break was over and she needed to get back to work, to which our waiter responded rudely, "okay" and shrugged. About 15 minutes after that, we were told that the food inspector had come and they had to "stop cooking the meal," so they were unsure how long it would take to actually get the food, and asked if we wanted to cancel our meal and go somewhere else (which we did not have time to do at that point). I am confused as I have worked in the food industry and the food inspector does not usually interrupt cooking for customers. An hour and a half after we arrived, we finally got our food, but only had time to take a few bites as we had to get back to work. The food tasted as if it had been microwaved. When a different waitress came out to give us the bill, we asked if we would be compensated. (If they were transparent about the time it would take to get the food from the beginning we would have had time to go somewhere else to get lunch due to our time restraint). We were told there was no manager at that time and the person in charge was busy talking to the food inspector. We were charged for our whole meal. Overall, the staff did not care about the situation. One female waitress apologized but never offered any compensation. I am wondering whether the staff/owner even cares enough to read...
