Funky Monkey is hands down one of the best spots around for sweet treats! Their snow cones are absolutely delicious – perfectly shaved ice with bold flavors and fun toppings that take them to the next level. The ice cream is just as impressive, rich and creamy with tons of variety. I especially love their banana splits and hot fudge sundaes – they’re made with so much care and loaded with just the right amount of toppings.

The homemade waffle cones are a game changer – fresh, warm, and crisp with that perfect buttery sweetness. You can tell everything here is made with quality in mind, and it really shows in every bite.

The milkshakes are delicious as well!! 😋 Cold, sweet, delicious, and tasty! You can even choose what ice cream flavor (s) you like AND even better, you can also add whip cream & cherry! We love every bit of it! ❤️

The snow cones 🍧 THE BEST THING THERE (in my opinion) you can get several toppings on it including gummies, cream, drizzles, etc. They have SO many flavors to decide from! Definitely a 10/10!

On top of the amazing treats, the place itself is spotless and super inviting. It’s always clean and welcoming, which makes it a great place to hang out with family or friends. The employee there named Jaylen, she is incredibly friendly, patient, and cheerful every time I visit. She fits so well with her personality and such a great employee there! While we were sitting down enjoying our lunch we noticed how she cleaned the whole time, checked on everyone, wiped tables as soon as customers left, stayed stocking items, and checking up on all the customers! We have not seen that great of an employee like her in a long time! Definitely ask for her when you go!! She knows how to make something right just for you! The owners clearly care about their customers and team, and it shows in the great service and positive atmosphere.

Just left Funky Monkey Ice Cream and Shaved Ice store in Guntersville. We will definitely be back!!!

They don’t open till 12p. We weren’t aware. We pulled in and I had to fill some stuff out online. So I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes finishing what I was doing. We got out to go in and the door was locked. We had already had a pretty frustrating morning. So we were disappointed. We got back in the car and got buckled and I looked out my window and the owner was letting us know we could go ahead and come on in. I realize they’re new and want the business, but he didn’t have to do that. It made my day so much better!!! So if you’re craving some ice cream, GO HERE! Check them out! Give them a chance!!

Staff was mildly friendly. Was crowded when I walked in the I when I was the last customer it was dead silent. The place looks nice but the shaved ice was not good at all. All the flavor was on top and then it was all ice at the bottom mixed with like 1% chocolate and cream. Usually when I get my usual flavor (coconut with chocolate and cream) from snobiz it's excellent and tastes just like an almond joy and so I expected the same from here cause it's the same combo I asked for but when I asked for cream and chocolate they seemed confused on how to top it. Asking me how I wanted it or if it should be drizzled. Smh. I was hoping I found a place to go when snobiz was closed but I guess not. The hype was definitely not worth the visit.
