CAFE FC — Restaurant in Hacienda Heights

Hello team Cafe FC, I usually order coffee from your cafe three times a week as you can see the photo I attached and appreciate the great taste and friendly service.

However, I recently experienced some inconsistencies in the order process that left me quite confused, and I’d like to bring them to your attention.

On January 29th, I placed an online order 20 minutes in advance. When I arrived at the cafe, I was told my coffee wasn’t ready yet, so I just said Okay and waited. While waiting, I saw three women walk in, place their orders and paid at the counter, and receive their drinks before I did. I was confused but I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I just took my coffee and left.

Today, I decided to place my order in person instead of online ordering because I felt like ordering online in advance is pointless at you cafe.

When I arrived at cafe, a lady was ordering at the counter, and a couple was selecting milk nearby. Since the couple wasn’t in line and didn’t seem ready to order, I stood in line behind the lady.

However, when it was my turn, the staff told me, “Wait, they were here before you,” referring to the couple. Even though I was in line first and they weren’t even ready to order yet, I had to wait until they finished choosing everything they wanted to buy.

This inconsistency has been frustrating. Could you clarify your order policy? Do you prioritize online orders placed in advance, or do walk-in orders get served first? Does the order of arrival matter, or does the actual placement of the order determine priority?

It was my first time visiting, and I decided to try their Fall seasonal drink — the Autumn Glow Matcha. It’s made with organic matcha powder and maple cinnamon syrup, and you can choose your milk of choice (I went with oat milk). I also added vanilla cold foam on top. The iced matcha latte came beautifully layered and topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder.

Let me just say — the entire café is spotless! It’s very clean, cozy, and spacious, with a few tables perfect for two people, and one larger table for a small group. Definitely a great spot to relax, study, or just enjoy your drink.

Customer service was amazing. The two young girls who helped me were super kind and attentive — they greeted me as soon as I walked in, asked how sweet I like my drinks, whether I prefer matcha or coffee, and made their recommendation based on that. Since I told them I love matcha but not too sweet, they suggested this one, and they were absolutely right.

The drink itself was delicious — you can definitely taste the matcha, and it’s really well balanced. Of course, it’s not a traditional matcha flavor since it has the maple cinnamon syrup and I added the cold foam, but I love that it’s not overly sweet or syrupy. I can still actually taste the matcha, and everything blends together perfectly. It’s cozy, flavorful, and gives total fall vibes. 🍁

I also loved that the café had their windows painted for Halloween — it adds to the seasonal charm.

If I lived closer, I’d honestly be here all the time. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely stop by again to see what other creative matcha drinks they...

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in HH. I have been in a few times now and everything I have tried has been spot on and delicious. My favorite is their Cafe FC Signature drink - it’s so rich and velvety with the perfect ratio of sweetness. This is actually the best coffee I have ever had - something about the creamy cold foam and vanilla blend on top of a very smooth coffee blend makes this drink absolute perfection. The runners up are their Vanilla Latte & Oaxacan Latte - I can’t wait to try more of their other flavors. Everything they make is super high quality and it shows. Also, you must try their pastries!! They have a wide selection for every palate - and their pastries are made with European flour and butter. Wow!! Their chocolate chip cookies are a family fave - I had a GF choco chip as well as regular - both amazing. I actually had to double check that my GF cookie was GF as it just tasted so good. I’ve also had their butter and strawberry croissants which I will definitely order again. All amazing!!!! Plus they’re so nice!!! Love...
