First off, I did not realize this Mcdonald’s “Open 24 Hours” ONLY applies to the Drive-Thru only. I always come to this location late at night (then again with someone driving in a car so I acknowledge it’s my own misunderstanding) BUT the point is I had walked up to open the entrance door & find it locked with a female worker who had a black ponytail and purple-collared shirt underneath a black mcdonald’s sweater, standing on the other side looking out. Their operating times posted on their window does not reflect what it says on Google Maps. [that it was DRIVE-THRU ONLY]
I was getting food I promised for someone else so this whole situation already had me thinking what am I gonna do? I could’ve been a regular human being & left and told that person “I’m sorry. They are closed,” but then I thought I could still order through the drive-thru since there were no cars yet. I get the female worker’s attention & ask through the glass door, “I know this sounds crazy, you guys are Open 24 Hours so can I still go through the drive-thru & order?” Looking back at it now, she probably thought I meant “Is your Drive-Thru still open?” because she was mainly nodding & only saying yes.
Nonetheless, I asked again to make sure & she said YES. I make my around to the back & get in line. I’m standing at the order speaker saying “Hello?!” & waving at it because I know they have cameras. Nothing. A car pulls up in the lane next to me & orders their food & they move along. I know I looked like an idiot standing in the middle of the drive thru in the cold so that’s when I decided to just place my order for drive-thru pick up via their Mobile App.
I payed then walk down to the “Pay Here” window to give my order code since they still haven’t acknowledged me at the order speaker. At this point, no cars were behind me yet, only in front. A male worker with dark hair & glasses opens up & me still being upset about waiting at the ordering area I asked him, “Why would your coworker tell me yes to ordering through the drive-thru but then no one spoke to me back there?” He looked at me puzzled saying they only see cars not people, just like that. If they have cameras to see the cars that order, they couldn’t see me who was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT waving & speaking?
I realized I was just arguing with a kid that works there who hasn’t seen me yet up to that point so I cut him off & ask if I should give him the code or just go to the “Pick Up” window. He tells me the latter. I walk up to the window & the girl, who had her Mcdonald’s cap on with her hair down (food safety hazard by the way), behind the glass was either blind, deaf or BOTH because she was not spotting me until I put my order code confirmation up against the glass and someone else behind her (another female worker who had an orange beanie & a headset on) saw it & went to look for my order.
She comes back & asks for my code again then not even a couple seconds later tells me my order is canceled. I tell her “What do you mean? How is it cancelled if I’m literally showing you the code?” Then she points at a screen like I’m supposed to know what it means & repeats herself. I forgot to add, these ladies are all giggling & laughing throughout all this thinking I was just some weirdo random guy who showed up at the window. That’s when the first lady I spoke to comes up to ask what’s going on, to which they reply in Spanish still giggling saying I’m asking for an order & that I just walked up. That’s when I lose it.
I’m a native Spanish speaker so I chimed in repeating the whole ordeal that had just happened & how no one was taking me seriously. That’s when they all stop laughing, not because I had explained to them but because they now knew I also know Spanish & can understand them. She asks for my code again to which SURPRISE, my order ticket was quite literally hanging in front of them. I wait a couple minutes & finally get my order to which I honestly just snatched up and walked away.
I asked for their GM contact info but they said they didn’t have one like be...
Read moreI don't mean to leave a bad review for this location because this is actually one of the better McDonald's I've been to but during my last visit on 08/28/25 I witnessed something absolutely disgusting and I will not allow it to happen to one of my orders ever again. I placed an order at the drive thru, paid at the first window and continued to the second window to pick up my food. When I get to the second window as soon as I got there they tell me to park anywhere someone is going to bring me my food, which ok I'm used to them telling me to park in the reserved drive thru spots because you don't want me sitting at the window for an extended period of time even though my order was pretty small.
So now I was able to park near the reserved drive thru spots and await my food. Immediately I noticed there just one woman running back and forth, in and out of the store running all the drive thru orders and as more cars order at the drive thru, they're all being told the same thing I was. Meanwhile this one woman is running all these orders outside but has no idea what order belongs to who so she's running around the parking lot asking every car whether the order she currently possess is their's.
I find this absolutely atrocious and will definitely not participate in that the next time I happen to order at this McDonald's. And all this for the sake of keeping a high on time performance of the store's drive thru. Shame on the management of this store for their sorry excuse of trying to run an...
Read moreIt was around 2:30am of Saturday September 23! My husband a friend and I use the drive thru. We had made our order to pull up to the 2nd window when this car cuts us and goes to the window before us. At first we were confused of why would someone do that. But that person in the car was talking to the person in the window for like 6min already had his car on brakes or on park like if he was waiting at the same time. Meanwhile there is like 3 cars behind us. My husband tells the driver to hurry up in talking that others had already made their order and the driver told him hold on that he's ordering as well. This was obviously a employee or employee family member that decided he was able to cut through because someone on the inside was "hooking him up" with HIS meal first before all of us who had made the order and line! Is this how it is usually runned when employees work at McD's ? Customers come second? I Would appreciate managers taking US customers into consideration and not let any employee take advantage of their benefit to cut us (customers). In the end we left the line and our order because we...
