Regrettably, I had to update my review from a five star to one. The quality of this place is subpar and leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth. And it doesn’t matter if you come in person or order online. The last few months the food and service has gone downhill. When I go in person, the wait time for food has been close to an hour yet people coming in after us will get their food before us. When I approached the server about this, his response was that the kitchen staff was late. I told him that something should be been communicated to us anyway and it still didn’t make sense why the table next to us received their food first. When we did receive our food, some of the orders were cooked incorrectly and the rest of the food was cold, as if it was sitting there for a while.
When ordering online the last two times, my modifications have been ignored. This last time, however, the food was not edible. The egg in the omelette was incredibly overcooked to a point where the egg was spongy. The potato’s were also overcooked and hard to eat. My huevos rancheros included avocado even though I asked to remove this. I couldn’t eat it because of my dietary restrictions; not severely allergic but doesn’t sit well and causes a lot of discomfort. Nonetheless, if I ask for something to be modified (which they give you a limit on what can be modified) I expect for it to be respected. The coffee was also cold even though we took in our food right after arrival.
The food here is incredibly overpriced. I was willing to pay since my first few visits were quality visits and I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I cannot justify $20+ for an underwhelming, dry and overcooked meal. The prices for some of the add ons are also absurd. After reading other reviews, it looks like I’m not the only one.
On top of that, the physical location does not have good connection yet they rely on using a QR code to order from. When I asked for the WiFi password to connect to their menu, the server had to ask around and had to recite the password to us. When I asked why the password was not shared with patrons, she said that’s what the owner wanted. Are you kidding me? You rely on the codes to save costs on having a server running tables but you don’t have adequate connection to get to your menus? This business needs to get it together. I had high hopes and was incredibly happy my first few visits but I cannot even give this establishment two stars. For the food that is cooked well, I can’t even justify the high price when service is nonexistent.
When I gave a call to share my feedback, I could barely hear the person talking. I appreciate her offering a refund but Uber requires I go through them. I was rejected a refund because it didn’t quality, so I basically spent money on food no one got to eat or enjoy. And if you’re thinking of trying the other location, don’t. The last time I was there my sisters burrito had napkin in her meal and it took me telling three people about it for them to take us seriously. They wanted to charge us the food after I mentioned it. It wasn’t until I explicitly asked them to remove it from the bill that the manager finally came up to us to apologize. But I saw the first two people tell him and he didn’t offer to take it off the bill then??? Ridiculous.
Whoever owns this place or both, do better. You want to charge high prices for food but don’t follow through with...
Read moreI was a bit disappointed that they took off the chicken and bacon flat bread pizza, however, the Nashville hot chicken pizza is certainly delicious .
I am adding on to this review because after writing this )as I was sitting in the restaurant, I actually had a bad experience with these guys)…. So the first time I ordered the Nashville hot pizza , it was grilled chicken and there was cheese on the pizza . The second time I went back and ordered it , I went home , must of ate about 2 slices before I realized there was no cheese on the pizza .. I also questioned why when I got the pizza the first time , it was grilled chicken (which was what I was expecting) and the second time I ordered it, it’s crispy chicken,.. I ordered it again expecting to get the same kind of pizza I got the last time … now , when I called bite , the first question I asked was “is there supposed to be cheese on the Nashville hot chicken pizza?” The lady says yes .. so I informed her I don’t have cheese on my pizza … she apologized and informed me to come in and they will look at it and make me a new one … long story short , when I went in , the lady told me the chef said he wasn’t making me a new pizza because he knew he put cheese on it … so I said I must be blind and told the woman behind the counter to look and tell me if she sees cheese .. she says no …. She went back there twice and the chef said he can take the same pizza back and add the cheese to it .. what kind of non sense is that? So at that point, your playing with my food? It wouldn’t even be the same . The only way it would make sense is if he scrapes off the toppings and then add the cheese then add back on the toppings … that’s literally playing with my food . So I denied it and said I want a freshly made pizza … she went back there again to talk to him and then comes back out and says he said either he add the cheese on the already pie I had or I get a refund … the chef couldn’t even come out and speak to me himself !!! He know he did some non sense & I feel like it was a very much so racist move … the other “manager” or whoever he was didn’t even come speak to me … …. I will never eat from there again….. I took my refund back and went else where and got better anyway. It’s such shame because I never complained about them until they switch management and new staff …. I hate that they changed …. Please make sure you check your food before leaving this place …. If your a person of color , they really don’t care , let’s be...
Read moreRefuse to give you half and half in a latte, so you do not have a choice of what you want in your drink even if you offer to pay extra. In what cafe have you ever had anyone refuse you half and half in your latte? Yes it’s mostly half and half with a shot of espresso, but that’s how I drink my latte, who is to refuse Me this?! Awful! This place used to be great and I have never had this problem till today, but the girl that was telling me this said this is how it will be From now on, so this deserves 100% 0 stars, something so small can really ruin a persons day! Especially when this is a place many come from the hospital and not having a good time, try offering amazing customer service, putting a smile on a persons face, instead of ruining the day over not wanting to give a paying customer a cup of half and half, seriously I’m just in shock. Will review on Yelp as well. If you are a person that like to have your food or drink slightly tweaked DO NOT COME HERE.
Update: after all the fight they put up they knew they were wrong in refusing to give customers what they like and added the option of half and half etc. Furthermore I don’t know about what else they changed to the food, I’m sure this isn’t the only thing, but they arrive side side serving of truffle fries for $11 these same fried were def at least double the size if not more, I was in shock to see the amount of potato they give you for the price. You can judge for yourself. If it wasn’t for my son loving few specific foods there I wouldn’t come again. The fact that they don’t want to do any work but expect tips is ridiculous as well. You sit and scan with phone and pay this way, no waiter will come to ask you what you would like and it’s a pain cause there were so many times they had issues paying with Apple Pay, I had to have them come and take my card which felt like a huge thing to ask. When I want to just order with...
