Would give zero stars if I could strictly for the customer service, the food is alright. My boyfriend and I have been paying customers there for awhile now but we were absolutely appalled by the way the older woman spoke - i think shes a manager. . We're both in our 20s, and have both worked multiple jobs at the same time to support our education and this woman went on a rant to other customers about how people our age are lazy and entitled, how we don't work for what we have and how our "degrees" don't mean anything. We had no idea that this was how this lady viewed the people who help to keep her business running. And the fact that she was so blatantly disrespectful to us to our faces was even worse. If you want to keep your business running, consider not openly insulting the people young enough to buy your food. We have been nothing but kind to this manager but will definitely not be coming back here now that we know she has no respect for us
The manager was also complaining about how her younger coworkers don't stick around long enough, maybe it's because you openly insult them and they don't want to deal with it?...
Read moreThis review is for the powdered vanilla creme donuts and the paczki. The vanilla creme donuts are outstanding and the best I've had. I've read others say L&M in Delran are just as good, if not better. After trying both, I can confidently say McMillan's powdered creme donuts are on another level. The donuts are overfilled with creme. They look like they'll be too sweet, but the creme is light and just the right amount of sweet. The donut has a very slight fryer crunch. A perfection concoction. L&M creme donuts are filled with their buttercream icing that has a thinner consistency than what they use for their cakes. Delicious, but not on McMillan's level. I also highly recommend the paczki anytime McMillan's offers them. The donut is lightly glazed and much sturdier to hold the berry filling. A filling that is more natural tasting than the average donut shop. Overall, I highly recommend McMillan's for their powered vanilla creme...
Read moreSuperb & delightfully decadent donuts. Fresh and delicious with a variety of traditional flavors like chocolate iced, jelly, cream filled, Bavarian cream, sugar crullers, and more. I would highly recommend McMillian’s if you love donuts and want to try one of the best on the east coast. The thing that I love about these donuts is, while they are truly sinful, they are not over-the-top sweet as some donuts can be. We did not try the other offerings but there are plenty to choose from: cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and specialty items like whoopie pies. There is always a line on weekends (and some weekdays too) and you will need to take a number. They kindly follow the baker’s dozen rule of 13 for the price of 12, which is nice because it is a rather old fashioned tradition that most bakeries do not...
