Just miserable overall. I ordered via the app and it told me to go inside and grab my food off the shelf near the door. I arrived and there was no shelf near either door. I waited at the end of the counter with the mobile order sign, behind someone else, and no one was bothering to pay attention to us, even when they came to the counter once or twice to call out an in-store order was ready as they just dropped it and took off. The cashier didn't bother either. The line was constantly having orders taken, but nothing was coming out anywhere near the same frequency. I noticed that there was a shelf tucked back in the employee area that looked to have the mobile orders on it. I wound up getting in the line to order so I could get someone's attention without screaming. And as it came my turn, the cashier went over to the other side of the counter to help someone who'd come back for a drink refill, then they went over to look at a bag of food, and finally paid attention to me. I'd told them I had a mobile order and it took them a moment to go get it and didn't say anything when they went to get my drink, but I just left with my sandwich and fries because it was maddening with how much and how long I and another person were being ignored and I was sure they were just going to bring me an empty cup instead of tea since you had to get them to fill that. I spent probably 15 or so minutes jut trying to get someone's attention. The chicken sandwich is no better than a premium chicken sandwich from McD's or BK and the fries were something you'd get a a school lunch room, go to Popeyes or Chic-fil-a for better food at the same price. There is absolutely nothing positive I can say about Zaxby's. But some other negative things of note: an employee cut line to get their meal break ordered, place was crowded but didn't seem like people were getting food in any reasonable time, and none of the staff seemed to be focused on doing anything other than maybe waving to their friends in line. Read moreFood is good. The young lady that took our order was super nice and helpful. Believe her name was Zoe. She was very polite and good at her job. Unfortunately she has a real ass as a manager. He accused my husband of stealing some sauce when he had actually forgotten to put a sauce on one of our plates. He then decided it was a good idea to argue with him about it until my husband held out a hand with some quarters stating he'd pay for it if the guy wanted. He also offered to bring all three plates back up with the sauce to show him. This same guy also put coleslaw on my husband and brother in law's plates when they asked for double fries. So he took the coleslaw off and placed about 4 more fries on their plates, making it extra obvious when compared to my plate that had a side of fries and a side of onion rings and my side of fries was just as big as their "double" side. The customer after us was also not happy about something and had to go up and deal with the same stupid manager. I'd expect that kind of bad customer service from a teenager with an attitude, but not a grown ass man that's a manager! Good way to lose customers for sure. After working in customer service my whole life, I learned that the customer is always right, even when they're wrong, they're right. And you can always tell who's lying to get more and who is being honest. If anything, he could've apologized and said he couldn't give us one, but sell us one and it really wouldn't have been a big deal. Super annoying, but whatever. Read moreOn 8/31/19, I went to this location at 9:04 pm and ordered 10 traditional wings. Priced at $11.59. I so happened to be in Haines City and I live in Lake Wales so I stopped on my way thru. I get home, about 25 mins away and I find only 7 wings. So I called immediately to inform the manager on duty, who said if I came back he would replace my meal and give me 10 more wings. I was not going back that evening since I would be passing thru the next day (today 9/1) and he said he would take my name so the manager in the next day would know to replace my 10 wings. He said that all I had to do was tell them they owe me 10 wings and they would believe him with my name and that I did not need the receipt (which I still have). So I call this morning to make sure I can replace those wings with that manager before I show up there and she said she was the GM of the restaurant, her name was Shauna, and she was not technically allowed to do that. She would give me 5 but would not replace my entire meal. The fact of the matter is, the entire team needs to get on the same page about what you can and can't do and make your customers happy. I won't be back there due to the "GM" who was not about her customers, and the fact the traditional wings were cold (not a sitting too long cold, but an old cold like they had been sitting in a pan waiting for someone to buy them). OH and the major fact I received 7 out of the 10 wings that I paid almost $12 for! Also, neither apologized for the fact I did not get my entire meal.
