Wingstop — Restaurant in Hales Corners

I was super excited when I saw that a wingstop opened closer to home! I went to order the weekend of August 30th. I was just snacking on the fries on the drive home because I couldn’t wait to eat! When I got home, I dumped out my fries to reheat and found an earwig, absolutely disgusting. I was debating and decided to let it go, maybe it was just a fluke thinking I was overreacting. Tried again the following weekend and same thing, dumped out the fries to reheat (because they’re always soggy!) and was met with a beetle. I called and explained and was told I would get a refund or in store credit. I chose refund, and still haven’t received it to this day. There were 3 staff members that were all incredibly nice when I came in for my pickup order! This is the best service I've received at a "fastfood" place in the last 2 years. I ordered online and walked in right at the beginning of the ready window and was politely told it would just be another couple minutes. No problem, but I told them I'd have to wait in the car as I had my dog with me. They went above and beyond and brought my order out to me! Since I prepaid they got a standard tip, next time they will get a bigger one! I don't think they know how much I appreciate small acts of kindness. My food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Prepare to wait a long time for even just one item when you walk in. Absolute crap customer service. Workers on their phones, on speaker- will ignore you until they're off of the phone before acknowledging you to take an order. Twice, we waited 20 minutes for ONE chicken sandwich while they prepared all other to go orders before we got ours.( we were eating next door and our daughter wanted a chicken sandwich instead) 20 minutes, and by the time ours was done, still, no one came to pick up those to go orders. Needles to say, everyone was already done eating by the time we got the chicken sandwich and went back over to the restaurant next door. Walk in orders/ dine in orders should come first.
