Sonny's Triangle Restaurant — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

I went to mcnicol Middle School and Hallandale High School and this was a must for pretty much all the students there and all the locals to get that quick breakfast even if it meant you were going to be late for class. The sausage and biscuits were amazing. This is a local spot and takes care of the people in the community with fair prices. It's got a real good family feel because everyone pretty much knows each other. It's got a Soul and old school feel to it which gives it that authentic vibe. I would recommend this for anyone to stop by there and try their good home cooking. The one memory that I will always carry from Sonny's and school is the classic brown paper bag you got from there with that fresh sausage and biscuits. If you are not a local do not expect any customer service. The menus are posted in the windows not on a menu board. So you have to take a picture of the menu with your phone to review. Again the regular customers seem to know the menu and the drill. If you have any questions the lady at the counter is rude, no social skills, and speaks to you as if you are stupid for asking questions. Biscuits come with 1 ,2 or 3 meat. What does that mean? Why not 1, 2 or 3 piece of sausage. 1/2 meat ???? Again if you are a regular customer you know the drill. I decided to visit after a recommendation. This community mom and pop spot is the bomb the guy who runa it is such the cool person. Anytime i stop by which is more often than not these days for those SLAP YO MAMA FRESH AND HOT BISCUITS with dollop of apple jelly perfectly sanwiching the 2 halves. I love it here. Its NEVER a long wait and they are always pleasant when serving me. I had the mystery drink for the first time ever. It was quite tasty though not at all what i was expecting.
