Ordered online wish it was a better platform lacks a description. When we arrived we received excellent fast service The food... well about that... We got the Roberto It was very doughy and needed a bit more time in the oven Love everything about this pizza When I had it the first time ( a year and a half ago) it was crisp and sweet and a little spicy a touch of salty just wonderful. However, we have tried 2 more times since to get food that good again without any such luck. We also got the "spektacular" it was burnt. Not a few dark spots just black and BURNT.. Got a kid's chicken strip meal that was pretty basic but the fries were pretty undercooked. Also got the meatball for an appetizer it was probably the best part should have just got a half dozen meatballs lol I say this and hope that it is taken constructively. Details are important We love wood-fired pizza and good food up this way is hard to come by... consistency and attention to detail are important!! Thank you maybe we will try again sometime but for now, I will save my money and make a delicious pizza at home (just won't be wood-fired 😢) Update: July 2025 The gal who took care of us was on her second day, She was fast friendly and by far the friendliest face we experienced there! (I get it, it's freaking hot today lol) She came right over with menus, we ordered a couple "peachy keens" and the specktacular Sicilian deep dish! Everything was speck-tacular lol see what I did there.. Anyway, wonderful balance of delicious pizza and fun, and the fresh arugula dont even get me started! Thank you so much to the gal who took care of us! What a wonderful end to a mopeding day!!

I was a bit apprehensive to try this restaurant after reading some of the recent reviews. I was worried about having poor service and long wait times. And that the pizza would have too few toppings and be burnt. But today is my sons 17th birthday and he really wanted to try the pizza, so we decided to take the hour drive to check it out. It was pretty busy but we were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked through the door and were seated immediately. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and cozy, but we decided to eat outside. The outdoor patio was just as pleasant and cozy, with plenty of shade and overlooking the river on one side. Our waitress, Lily, was wonderful. (Please give her a gift card/bonus/something) She came over within moments of us being seated. Our family of 4 ordered lemonade for drinks, and I asked for a blueberry margarita even though it wasn't on the menu. She said of course and brought out the most delicious margarita I have had in awhile. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer and got the aoili and ranch to dip. The pickles were fresh, thick and seemed homemade, as opposed to mushy jar pickles, which we loved. We ordered chicken wings, a traditional dahlia and a traditional backyard bbq pizza as well. The pizzas were cooked perfectly. Our waitress checked in on us at least 6-7 times and everything came out hot, delicious and in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaints are that the pizzas weren't sliced all the way through and one came out several minutes after the other so we didn't all get to eat fully together. Even so, I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

Two thumbs WAY UP! 👍👍 This Wood-Fired pizzeria has excellent food and a great atmosphere! Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly and fun. We chose to eat out on the patio with fires turned on for us and a great view of the Kennebec River lazily flowing by. We started with the bone-in wings tossed in their signature peanut butter sweet chili sauce topped with bacon pieces. It was really good reminding me of a Thai recipe. I would have preferred more heat; perhaps some cayenne. It was really good, though. Then we had a simple pepperoni pizza. They had some really attractive choices, but my wife and bestest traveling buddy likes pepperoni. However, this pepperoni pizza was really excellent! The crust was perfect with the smoky flavor. It had the right amount of cheese with flavorful pepperoni. I highly recommend it. The staff was fun to engage and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. My wife's comment when we were enjoying the sights and pizza... "Everyone should get a chance to eat here."

Went there twice in the last 2 weeks and will not be going back. The first time was with dinner with friends. When the waitress finally came to our table to ask us if we wanted drinks, she turned to the couple who was with us and took their drink order...then walked off..never took ours. We had to go up to the bar to order. When the waitress brought the drinks she only had 3 of our 4 orders. We had to explain the order to her and she left to go get the 4th drink. When the food came the order was wrong At this point we ate what she gave us, paid and left. We figured she was just having a bad day. Yesterday I ordered 2 pizzas on the phone. They said 15.to 20 minutes. When I arrived I stood there for about 10 Minutes and finally saw 2 waitresses standing down back talking. I walked down there and asked about my pizzas. They said the bar tender took care of that so I walked back up to the bar and stood there another 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. I finally got my pizzas( btw...the bar tender was the same waitress we had the week before.) When i got home and opened the pizza box....one of them was not what I ordered and the other one was burnt. This is pretty disappointing because I always loved this place. But we will not...
