My first and last time coming here!! A medium oxtail dinner came with 3 (three) pieces of OXTAILS for $16.48. I could have checked prior to leaving but who would think you would only get 3 pieces of OXTAILS? When asked what would I have gotten if I ordered a large serving, I was told 4 pieces ($20+). Totally disgraceful!! Rice/Gravy was beyond spicy (although that’s not an issue personally). However, if your one who doesn’t like spices, your done!! I get it, the price of oxtails are expensive and that price gets factored into the quantity of food given. But if your ripping off consumers by issuing this low quantity, you shouldn’t serve it at all. I should of just stuck with Cool Breeze(Great Food 🔥) on Whalley ave where I frequent when I’m in the mood for Caribbean Food but I like to be fair and try everyone but it’s reason like this on why I’m close minded when it comes to trying other Jamaican/Caribbean Restaurants in the area. The same narrative, “A bunch of rice and cabbage but they’re cheap with the oxtails”!!!

FYI: I have gotten 3 oxtails in the past from Authentic Jamaican/Caribbean restaurants but the cuts were from the large portion of the tail of a full grown cow. This place right here are serving oxtails from the mid to low end of the tail of a calf. And I’m not hating...just look at the other 1 ⭐️ reviews about this place and it’s consistent with my post.

I ordered from this place when they first opened and was very very pleased with their food. We were in dire need of a good jamaican resturant in this area and was so glad they opened and were delicious. Fast forward a few years, I'm back in the area now and was happy to see theyre still here. I decided to call in to ask some questions about the menu and the staff was so kind and helpful. I'm in a situation today where I can't pick up and need delivery; there was a issue with the door dash menu to make an order vegetarian and the wonderful staff went out of their way to fix their doordash menu online and then CALL me back so I didn't have to find a way to swing by on my tight lunch break. Thanks to their kindness, I get to enjoy my lunch break on an 18 hour work day at home with the hubby, he gets his vegetarian meal, and everyone is happy!

Thank you round the clock for your delicious food and commitment to your customers. I look forward to plenty more orders! I'm glad to be back in the neighborhood with excellent mom and pop restuarants like...

Ordered take out. Curry goat and oxtails. 15 minute wait in an empty restaurant. Couple oxtails and a container full of rice. Curry goat was dry without gravy. . Called the restaurant and they did not want food back and did not want to give me my money back. The owner decided to give me $20 back on a $50 uneaten order. Trying to give a second chance ( big mistake) i reordered the curry goat with extra gravy. The curry goat was just as dry as the food i got last night and the extra container of gravy was watered down. On a scale of 1-5… They get 0. I do not recommend this Jamaican restaurant to anyone!!!!
