On Sunday my wife called to order two large, plain pizzas. The first issue occurred when I walked in and had to wait close to 5 minutes before anyone even came to the counter. I could see two people in the back but they never came out. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a car zoom into the parking lot and shortly after a gentleman came to the counter.
I told him what we ordered and wanted to confirm the order would qualify for the daily special which gets you two large plan pizzas for around $23. He said no because my wife didn't tell him she had a coupon so I pointed out the menu says specifically it is a daily special which does not require a coupon. He then told me he's just the pizza guy and the girl who's supposed to work the register isn't there and he doesn't know how to do it so he couldn't cancel the order and re-enter it with the special. He did offer me some soda which I appreciated but declined.
If a worker is hired to do Job A and at some point may also be asked to do Job B, the employee needs to be trained to know how to do Job B so they are prepared when that time comes. As I told him, it's not his fault, he should have been trained if he's going to be expected to cover someone else's job, but clearly that did not happen. Failure to train employees who will be expected to cover those who are out - for whatever reason - is bad business practice and in this case cost me about...
Read moreI passed this place a few times and was eager to try out some "brick oven pizza" so I stopped by to try a slice or two and get a menu. Everything started out ok, until it was time to receive m to food. I was at the counter reading the menu when a gentleman from the back walked up to the counter and threw a bag in my direction at the counter and walked away without addressing me or saying a word. That's when the young lady that took my order said, " oh, that's your pizza". I responded "WOW" and as I was leaving the young lady said in Spanish, " papa just threw it at him" as she laughed. I guess they didn't know Latinos came in a broad spectrum of colors. Or maybe they don't realize that a high percentage of people take Spanish in school, so if they decide to speak about a customer as not to be understood they should choose a language that isn't soooo common. I gave the slices to a homeless guy I passed at an intersection bc I never eat someone's cooking I can't trust. This will be my only visit to this place for sure bc it all starts...
Read moreMy first experience here was positive. I ordered a cheesesteak, which was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, the bread was fresh and soft, and the cheese was melted and added with ketchup.
Yesterday, I ordered a grilled chicken salad with eggs. The salad was decent in size and presentation, but my eggs were uncooked when I left. The cashier had warned me to be careful because the eggs were just done and very hot.
When I finally opened my salad, I noticed that one egg was not fully cooked. The yolk was not fully set, like a hard-boiled egg, but it was also not runny like a raw yolk. Instead, it was clearly left uncooked in the center, with a less firm texture and no consistency. Didn’t complete nutrients on the meal. In the second picture with the cucumbers as you can see there’s a difference in the yolk color, texture and feeling of it....
