Carvel — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

The older man working there was hostile to my small children and I, including not allowing her to use the bathroom, (unless we pay) after she had run into the shop needing to "oh oh gotta go!"; shortly afterwards he told another unpleasantly surprised (dismayed ) customer "if you don't like it here, then u can go somewhere else!". Then as my small children were eating their ice cream, he blatantly was pointing his finger at us while just as openly talking about us to his other two employees. Of what we had experienced there today, reminds me of some of my past experiences in Central East Europe, where the basics of common courtesy and principles of business moral etiquette were deficient. It today too felt I was in a second world country, and have felt ashamed of being American in having to endure such with my children in the US. My Eastern immigrant husband, who wasn't present, later asked, why didn't we just leave after the man (perhaps manager or owner?), had confronted us in such a rude and unprofessional way. It's very simple: I was also there with our three year old, who instead of napping just came from the pediatrician with her kindergarten aged sister, and after everything tiring, she wasn't going to put up with a "no!", or "wait some more!" to ice cream, that she was very much (too much, I'm afraid), looking forward to (given that our prior and first experience there was rather a delightful one. The service at carvel on route 33 was amazing/stunning, the person that helped me and my friend was James. James's help was absolutely awesome!!! You guys need to try the soft-serve ice cream because it is very rich! There are 5 sizes of ice cream, kid, Jr., small, medium, and large. I asked James "do you guys serve mint chocolate chip in soft serve" but they didn't have it, I got the mint chocolate chip in a small cup and the vanilla soft serve in a medium cone. The older Asian man is very rude! After he made my milkshake and it was time to pay, I gave him my card . He then pointed at me with my card and waved my card in my face and yelled 3 times "next time $5 min" .I don't mind paying any minimum but I do not like how I was treated or told about the minimum. I'm never going here again. He needs to learn how to treat people , that's probably why the place was so empty...
