Walked in Sun. July 6th at around 8pm. This location is where professionalism goes to die. I was 100% okay with the fact that they ran out of chicken; that was not at all an issue. Another batch was being prepped and was going to be ready in 5 minutes. Totally fine.
But a young woman working there -- if you can call it that -- was acting like the absolute biggest brat. Complaining in front of customers about break times and wanting to leave. A customer who was ordering a bowl was informed he would have to wait a few minutes for chicken. He was also perfectly fine with that. She then stepped in like the entire child she is and proceeded to whine to the employee making the food saying "just gimme the bowl its just gonna get cold anyway" to which he responded by asking the customer if that would be ok and he quietly said yes -- but his face expressed the same shock we all felt. like "did that really just happen??"
Quite literally all she would've had to say was "excuse me sir, but if its alright, I can take this bowl so it doesn't get cold on you and then he can make you a fresh one when the chicken is ready?" Would have said the same exact message without sounding like a bratty, entitled little girl. Actually crazy behavior. GROW UP. As a college student who also works full time in customer service she made me so embarrassed for my generation and we do not claim her.
Nor do we claim the young guy who sat at a table sipping a soda watching his teammates struggle and with a smile just said "I got 5 more minutes." Like, sure.. don't clock in early, I agree completely. But maybe don't sit out in the open with your man spread just watching your teammates work? Maybe use a break room?
The only employee that seemed like he deserved to be there was the guy cooking the food. The guy making the food even expressed how badly he wanted to go home. If you can't handle the work force, stay home...
Read moreI was so excited when this Chipotle opened just a few blocks from my house. I thought, finally—I don’t have to drive all the way to the Marketplace. But honestly, this place was a huge letdown.
They were out of white rice and chicken. How does that even happen at Chipotle? That’s basically half the menu. The black beans were dry and had zero flavor, and the guacamole? It was brown. Totally unappetizing.
What really made the experience worse was the staff. They moved so slowly, looked miserable, and had the kind of attitude that made it feel like they didn’t want to be there—and didn’t want you there either. No energy, no urgency, no basic customer service.
It’s disappointing because I really wanted to like this place. But if this is the standard, it feels like the franchise didn’t bother to properly train the team or even care about the customer experience. Big thumbs down. I’ll be driving the extra...
Read moreWent to grab an early dinner, decided to get a burrito and try them out since they are new to the area. The white rice was overcooked and somehow unseasoned. so much so that it was almost a victorian era porridge. The chipotle honey chicken i got as the protein was an underwhelming portion and tasted about as flavorful as Aunt Sue-Maries boiled chicken casserole. Decent sized burrito but when filled without quality ingredients it just turns into something you eat to be full. At this price I assumed fast casual, but id put the flavor on par with mcdonalds fast food. I also got the queso which i couldnt even taste on the burrito itself. I was hoping the “agua fresca” that they had would at least be refreshing but the watermelon limeade was utterly disgusting. Youre better off going to moes if you want a good experience with retail mexican cuisine at least their...
