Sally Slices was not alone in his battle against Pizza the Hut. His father, Marcello Mandreucci, was a renowned pizza chef and a skilled warrior in his own right. Marcello had trained Sally in the art of pizza slicing from a young age, passing down his knowledge and skills to his son.
When Marcello heard of his son's mission to defeat Pizza the Hut, he knew he had to join the fight. He quickly joined Sally aboard the "Pizza Slayer," bringing his expertise in pizza-making and his prowess in combat to aid his son.
Together, Sally and Marcello made a formidable team. Sally's agility and precision with the pizza slicer combined with Marcello's culinary expertise and combat skills created a formidable duo. They sliced through the cheese-filled corridors of Pizza the Hut's hideout, facing off against doughy minions and saucy traps with skill and determination.
When they finally reached the heart of the hideout, Marcello and Sally faced off against Pizza the Hut in an epic showdown. Marcello wielded a rolling pin, using it to deflect the villainous pizza's attacks and create delicious doughy weapons of his own. Sally spun and sliced with his pizza slicer, delivering precise and powerful cuts to Pizza the Hut's crusty exterior.
The battle was intense, with cheese and sauce flying in all directions. Marcello and Sally worked in perfect harmony, their years of training and shared bond as father and son evident in their coordinated attacks. They dodged, sliced, and rolled their way through the battle, never faltering in their determination to defeat Pizza the Hut and save the galaxy.
With their combined efforts, Sally and Marcello managed to outsmart and overpower Pizza the Hut. Working in unison, they landed a final, decisive blow, reducing the villainous pizza to crumbs. The galaxy was saved, and Pizza the Hut's evil plans were thwarted.
As they stood victorious, Sally and Marcello shared a proud and emotional moment. They had fought side by side and emerged victorious against all odds. Marcello expressed his pride in his son's skills and bravery, while Sally thanked his father for his guidance and mentorship.
The galaxy celebrated their victory, hailing Sally and Marcello as heroes. They returned to their spaceship, the "Pizza Slayer," with a sense of accomplishment and a strengthened bond between father and son. Together, they continued their pizza-making and space-faring adventures, using their skills to promote the love of pizza and protect the galaxy from any future threats.
In the end, Sally Slices and Marcello Mandreucci's tale became the stuff of legend, inspiring others with their unwavering courage, formidable skills, and the special bond between a father and son who fought side by side against the forces of evil in the...
Read moreLived in the general area for 20+ years and honestly never thought of stopping here given its a tab out of the way I usually go and there are so many good pizza places around the Trenton area. Today I gave it a try based on my kids telling me that there is a famous tik-tok person that owns/works there. So I stopped in by myself to give it a try. Will have to bring the kids back to meet the man himself hopefully another day.
Overall I was very pleasantly surprised. The Corleone (spelling) pizza they advertise was what I had to try - got two slices - one pepperoni; one sausage. With a can of soda it was just over $9 so a tab pricey but turned out to be worth it. Its essentially a light pan pizza - not heavy at all - but crispy & fluffy from a pan. Every bite had crisp and I can see why they advertise the corners a bit. It was different compared to most around the area as they are usually traditional round pizzas or tomatoe pies. They did have a margherita and a tomato pie (I think) version of the Corleone style but I will try those next time. Was disappointed the buffalo chicken wasn't an option when I was there but maybe they had sold out.
Place didn't really have anyone in it but its relatively small. Definitely busy though as a lot of pies in the oven and more being prepared. No real dine-in - a few small counter areas including the outside - but I thought that kind of made it more fun. Reminded me of going into a city for pizza (NY) or cheesesteaks (Philly) where that is a common thing. Enjoyed the music that was playing. Staff was very friendly. Sally was busy talking otherwise was going to ask for a pic to send my kids to make them jealous. Next time we go I will have to bring them along.

Read moreI just left Marcello's pizza grill and only have amazing things to say.
The pizza is absolutely amazing. That Corleone style pizza is worth every bit of the hype. I am living in mercer county for ~6 years and this is EASILY in my top 3 pies. And I eat A LOT of pizza!
This is about the service that I received. I called in the order and picked the pie up. I had my 2 year old daughter with me and as most kids do, she fell asleep on the short ride to the pizzeria. I called when I got there and asked if someone could walk the pizza out to the car so I could let my daughter to continue to nap. The response that I received was "of course" and a smiling young man walked out with my pizza. It was ~$21 for the pie. So I gave him $30 and told him to keep the change for the nice gesture. He asked multiple times "are you sure you don't want change?". Hes a better man than me because when I worked for tips, a big tip like that was always appreciated but never turned down.
Small things like this mean the world to a parent. It gives you that feeling of family and home. To me, those feelings are what makes a pizzeria stand out. Tons of places have good pizza, but a few don't even thank you for buying pizza from them. Sometimes that is the deciding factor when deciding where to order from.
So hats off to this establishment for treating their customers well, providing a GREAT product for a reasonable price and going above and beyond for me and my daughter!
PS- as soon as that amazing scent of pizza hit the air in the car, my daughter popped her head up and said...
