The ambience of Massimos is pleasing & comfortable from the decor to the cloth napkins. I frequented Massimos back when it was on Hamilton Ave several x/week with go workers. I loved the huge Originale salad. Brought my husband for dinner to this Robbinsville location. We started with a wood fired oven tomato pizza for an appetizer. It took well over 20+ minutes to arrive at our table. Being a Jersey girl who LOVES pizza, I know it only takes a few minutes to cook pizza in a wood burning oven. The pizza arrived, very white & flat. This pizza was obviously not cooked in the wood-burning oven as advertised. Instead of tried to pass off this lame excuse of a wood fired pizza, they should have been upfront & told us that their “authentic” wood burning oven was not working. The eggplant Parmesan my husband ordered was decent. The tomato sauce was very good. They first delivered my Ischaiola Salad with no shrimp or portobello mushrooms. Before I could question it, the waiter brought the five little shrimp and three small pieces of portobello mushroom that they “forgot” to put on my salad. This entrée salad was much smaller than the Originale salad that I used to order from their Hamilton Avenue location. Very sad how things change over the years. They really need to do better. I now understand why they are never busy. Very disappointing visit Massimo’s…do better.

This review is for the pizza only because that’s all I had here so far. My friend picked me up 2 slices of pizza from here one white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes, and one red square pizza with basil and a sesame crust. The white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes was good! The red square pizza which they call Coppa was delicious! It was definitely the winner of the two. The red sauce was so flavorful and tasty! The dough had a nice crisp on the bottom, and the top was soft just how I like it. I recommend Massimo’s Cucina!

I will NEVER order from them again! I ordered delivery from them a few weeks ago from work for the first time. The food was good and had a good portion size. However, tonight I ordered and picked it up on my way home early from work. See the picture! I ordered a chicken cheese steak with green peppers, onions, and mushrooms with cheese. I paid $10 in total for something I did not eat. I did not pay for bread and mushrooms with what looked like left over fries from someone's plate!

My family regularly orders take out pizza from massimos and we are usually very pleased. However, after tonight’s dine-in experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. My parents, grandma, and 18 month old daughter sat down for dinner and ordered a margherita pizza, a kids order of spaghetti and meatballs, and one pasta dinner. After waiting approximately forty minutes, the kids meal and pasta dinner arrived and we were told the pizza would be out shortly. Flash forward another 20 minutes and still no pizza. My toddler was antsy at this point, had finished her dinner, and my dad had finished his meal as well. Our waiter kept reassuring us that the pizza would be out soon. When no pizza was in sight, we informed the employees who work behind the pizza counter of our situation. To put it short, they could care less. They were their usual grumpy and unapproachable selves. They simply waited for us to pay the bill, which included the boxed up pizza at that point, with no sign of care or apology. It was bad not getting our pizza before the other meals were consumed; however, the poor attitude of the staff was the tipping point. Our waiter did express an apology; you would think upper management would have done the same. I get it - things happen, but at least show some care and interest towards your customers in these situations. Even popping a smile once in a while would be nice. I suppose our business does not matter. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere where customer service and satisfaction is a priority. You can keep your...

Being a customer for years this is what I get from a small family owned business I probably get a better response from mc Donald . First time I placed order on line through the site it automatically appears when you google messimo and for the first time ordering you get 10% or $10 off the order over certain price I can’t remember exactly how much was it , so after finishing it never applied the discount but when I called them the usual guy picked up the phone who is always very nice and told me no problem we can apply here when you come . After coming he no longer was there but I told what happened to the person who was there who supposedly was the owner never knew he was the owner and if he could break a little smile it wouldn’t hurt either’ he said he can’t do anting because I don’t have a paper coupon and he didn’t want to hear what I was talking about about the online order. I don’t have a “ paper coupon “ really ? Is not 50s anymore and him applying anyway would only mean they care about customers. That’s not how Local small business should operate especially that they must allow that internet coupon option since it was on their side . I should probably walk away but that order was for someone working in my house otherwise I would just say no thank you , but it was definitely last time I was there ....
