This review should have been written a few months ago but I kinda forgot until I was just now looking through some old photos on my phone and wanted to delete some and saw the ones I am posting so here it goes. I was returning from dropping off a group at the Newark Airport and decided I wanted a cup of coffee and figured if I took the Route 33 exit off 295 I was sure to find some place to get a cup. At 5:00 in the morning there are not a lot of places with good coffee open but then I came upon this Wawa and figured that even though I don't care too much for Wawa coffee it would do in a pinch. My first thought about the store was that it was either a new store or one that had just recently opened back for business after being remodeled. Since I was driving a bus I drove around to the back of the store to hopefully find parking spots for larger vehicles like they have at a lot of the stores in South Jersey. Not finding any I parked out front a good distance from the store taking up 4 or so parking spots. I entered the store, got my coffee but when I went to pay I was told it was free coffee day so that was a good thing. Now here comes my complaint, as mentioned previously I parked way out away from the store so I was not taking up a lot of spots with the bus but now I find someone parked a pickup truck right in front of the bus requiring me to have to backup to go around him. I realize that an ignorant customer is not Wawas fault but them not providing parking for larger...
Read moreProbably one of the worse Wawa’s around. They’re always out of stuff. This morning they were out of raw auger and vanilla creamer. The lack of creamer is a common occurrence, but the sugar is not. Did find a bin with a few packs left and when I reached in to grab a couple I pulled out a dust-bunny.
I also buy vanilla creamer for home, and the shelf is usually empty. They’re either completely out or didn’t stock the shelf, in which case I have to find someone who will disappear in the back for a few minutes before re-emerging with one, when I asked for two.
I also switched my flavor of a particular cigarette because they were always out. Now they’ve been running out of the new flavor I switched to. It’s ridiculous.
I’ve seen them run out of coffee cups, COFFEE CUPS!
I don’t if it’s a management problem, or a backorder problem or what, but the issues here are consistent.
The parking lot is dangerous, but that’s not Wawa’s problem, it’s just the idiots that live around here are careless.
And thankfully they moved Bella to a different store. She has two moods. Super annoying, or super rude. And that mood would flip from customer to customer. I recently saw her at the Burlington Wawa on 130. So if you’re not a Bella fan, steer clear...
Read moreI always loved coming to this Wawa, the food was great but the service was very slow. The workers at the food station take their sweet time which can be stressful in a busy morning. The next following night, I was trying to get gas for my truck and I had some money on my Wawa card so I walked in the store and tried to pay for the gas but they said that lane was closed when it was clearly open all the people had to do there was walk a little more and they could've pumped my gas. I mean at this point I just wanted to pump my own gas like everywhere else in America but to obey the law I simply asked one of the workers outside if they could scan my Wawa card and they said no so I told them I would pay half of it with cash and the rest with my card. The lady was so rude and had an attitude the whole time, she was complaining that she had to pay the rest with my card but if she would've heard me in the first place then there shouldn't have been a problem. The last guy to finish pumping my gas was actually a nice young gentleman who was very friendly and polite with me. Overall I'm very disappointed because I actually loved coming here but maybe there's still hope...
