Love Chipotle for their food but unfortunately I have to call this establishment the closest location to my home... poor "take out service" on not just one occasion! Save yourself the "disappointment" along with your, "hard earned coin" if you do not take/or have the time to personally go in and observe your meal being made to your specifications...
I personally do not make reviews often, and find the time spent typing this review a complete waste of my time, in all honesty! I do not complain often (especially not in a publicly viewed manner as this..)
As for this review, I made it note worthy.. as my family and I were surprised (personally I was genuinely pissed) when arriving home with 3-Entree Bowl's clearly labeled appropriately, but containing not one(1) strand of cheese (literally) when each bowl stated having "extra cheese". This incidence was also true as each Bowl was to include "extra chicken" (I'm aware that the thought of "extra chicken" is very subjective) but the helpings we received were lack luster of even the most "standard" amount often given w/o any extra's... It literally looked as if they ran out of food...
And that may have been the case for my family's most recent experience at this location... and if so, not a big deal as it is understandable that "Demand" at times succeeds "Supply on hand" at a given time... but if so, having the integrity to tell the customer that you "simply ran out of something" displays simple respect and is quite an important step to appropriately "charge" or "refund" customers.
*Also, if you are trying to call this establishment... you are probably better off to not even waste the time in dialing their number as we were unable to get through to speak directly with anyone at this specific Hamilton Chipotle.. after multiple attempts!
This review is lengthy in context and genuinely truthful to my bestest ability, with no regards in bashing a company but with full regards for informational purposes for the consumer and to any management whom may be of...
Read moreIt's definitely better than the one in Oxford, and I hear they pay well. But with that being said, they need to make some changes as far as employees go. I know fast food places are usually where teens/young adults start out but I've watched as some of them goof of in the back or on their phones for extended periods of time. Management needs to get on top of this, these young employees are going to end up getting different jobs and think they can slack off and play on their phones and that's not setting them up for success because they will be fired. In my experience working fast food we had that a lot and those same teens who got payed to do pretty much nothing can't keep a job now because their former workplace let them get away with it (Burger King is the worst when it comes to this). But other than that the food was good, kind of expensive so nobody (besides the cop I see eat there every single day) can have it a lot because how bad our economy is, no matter what "class" you're in, everyone is feeling inflation so eating out somewhere that's costly just isn't a viable option right now for a lot of us. Once inflation is down, a considerable amount, then sure. I can see me making this a place I go to on days where I work late or don't feel like cooking etc. I'll consider giving 5 stars once I have an experience there where the people payed to do a job are all doing their job, not making the hard workers work harder as the others just get by with their laziness. Stuff like that makes me incredibly upset, I want to give 3 stars because of it but in reality it's the management that doesn't do anything about it, enabling them. They'll lose their good workers and we will get food made by people who may have worked there a while but have been so lazy they don't even know how to properly do their job and the quality of the food will fall, fast. Please get your people in line management,...
Read moreThe host Pamela wasn't friendly at all. I ordered my food and the I asked the guy making it if I could get a little bit more guacamole because it was literally half a spoonful that he was scraping from the bottom of the bin it was in. I went on to pay for my CO workers food and mine. I asked why mine was so much after i paid and looked at the receipt and seen I was charged for 2 sides of guacamole so I asked if there was another container in my bag and she said no....I heard you ask for extra guacamole. I explained I was just asking for a little more than the last of the bin. The guy says he put more on my bowl, and i asked 2 portions worth and he looks at her with a look of idk or something as if he doesn't know the portion size. So she says our portion sizes are diffeernt for the entrees than a side of it. If I'm paying 2.60 for a side of guac I would expect the same amount for on my bowl or on the side. I just said forget it and grabbed all the food and left. It'd been different had she even greeted me or anything up to that point or even confirmed my order and had it all sorted out before charging me. There definitely is not 2 portion sizes of guacamole on my food, and it's a little frustrating she didn't even offer to check or get a manager when i was asking about. Just giving me a confused look and attitude because i was questioning what I was spending my money on. I was charged 5.20 for 2 sides of guacamole in my bowl, and was charged 4.30 for a chips and guac and I got more in that container of guacamole than I...
