It was our first time, and unfortunately with no hopes in returning. The physical space felt like one was walking into a brightly lit sterile giant food hall, lacking a warm or welcoming personality. The humongous main video screen, while initially impressive, slowly overwhelmed the space. All this could be overlooked by a cordial and warm serving staff. This is when our experience went south. Sitting at the bar, my husband and I were attended to by Matt, a bartender. Noticed I did not say welcomed, for his short answers and lack of a smile showcased much arrogance. I ordered a LIT, and requested it be shaken. Nodded with a look like "no need to ask me how to prepare it." This is my preferred cocktail and I know the taste of a well prepared one. He returned with a beverage that did not appear shaken. The taste lacked the broken citrus blend that a well shaken cocktail provides. Every sip I took delivered a different layer, again lacking the chemestry of all the components working together. I did comment that it did not appear shaken, with Matt denying my assessment. His callus and pompous response continued to aggravate the already most unpleasant experience. It's not whether he was wrong or I was right. It was all about how he handled my concerns. What would it have taken to just smile and say, "Let me go ahead and give it another good shake for you"? A missed opportunity for a customer service driven recovery to a concern. We go to bars to have a bit of a good time, with a warm setting, and to be welcomed with a "Cheers" experience that makes you feel appreciated. We don't go to bars to be served a beverage by server that has a cold and arrogant personality, but one that makes you feel like "you've come to the right place". Regretfully, Matt has done a great job in convincing us this is not a place to come back to. For you see, there are far too many other places that makes us feel welcomed, and know how to value their patrons. I rated the food category with a 1 although we did not eat during our visit. It reflected on the quality of the...
Read moreMost importantly, we received amazing service from Ari while we were here, she is actually the only reason I’m leaving 4 stars. She was super attentive and very personable. She made sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. I have no complaints about the atmosphere or the service. We received better service here than some of the nicer restaurants in town. Plus it looks great inside and out.
My complaint was the quality of the food compared to the price. The food was honestly just mediocre. 17.99 for a basket of wings that were honestly less than wing stop quality. My husband said the sauce was good but the wings were mid. My chicken teriyaki sandwich was good, for the price I have no complaints about that, same for the cheese curds. But what absolutely floored me was y’all charged us $4 dollars for a side of Kraft Mac n cheese. No extra cheese, no seasoning or anything, looked like it was straight from the box. To be 100% honest I probably wouldn’t have even written this review if it weren’t for that. Basically it’s mediocre bar food for nicer restaurant prices. In total we spent like close to $60 (not including the tip in this because it was well deserved and I’ll never complain about tipping❤️)for an appetizer, 2 meals and a beer during happy hour. My Mac n cheese was an add on to my meal. Only giving 4 stars because of the amazing service we received, I honestly wanted to leave 3 stars just for that disrespectful Mac and cheese. 😭
We didn’t complain at the store because we definitely feel this is not a local issue and more of a corporate issue. Corporate, if you’re going to charge the prices you’re charging please invest in better ingredients, I think it would be an amazing spot for dinner if the food was better quality. Even if you have to raise the prices for better quality food. Or atleast lower them to reflect the quality on...
Read moreThis place, SUCKED. Service was horrible, my cousin said “no rye, I want sourdough if you have it. But really, anything but rye I do not want rye.” She got rye bread. My cousin Jordan and buddy Richard both said “ I want my burger medium” Jordan’s was medium rare, Richard’s was rare. Then, the server gave himself his own tip of 20% on the checks. So he got a 6.60 from me, $15 from Leslie, 15 from Debbie and $10 from the others. When asked about this he smiled, laughed and said “yes, we get twenty percent from each check if there’s a party of ten or more” well… there was NINE OF US
Just absolutely horrible, I asked for mayo twice. Eventually had to ask someone else, my cousin asked for a beer and it took forever to get it. Richard’s beer took forever to come out, in fact. We got our appetizers before he got his beer. Dude was spilling the beers as he was walking out and shaking like crazy. Period, that place just sucks. My sliders were ok, but the chicken dip I got was $10 for absolute trash. Stale chips, dry buffalo chicken dip. The onion rings were disgusting, tasted like fried grease and trust me. I’ve had fried grease before, it’s not the best but it was better than them onion rings.
The atmosphere was incredible, only thing I enjoyed. The powerful quotes, the tvs, the jerseys. Oh and the bartender, some guy. Great guy, quick with service and helped 4 people at once. That guy would make me come back to sit at the bar and drink, my server? I wouldn’t let him bring me napkins...
