Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Hamilton

I had a horrible experience at this Sonic today. I will never patronize this place again. I went through the drive-thru to get a Rt. 44 Diet Dr. Pepper. When I left the drive-thru. I went to a carwash across the street. I vacuumed out my car and threw the receipt for my drink in the trash. When I was finished cleaning my car I took a drink of my drink and it was a regular Dr. Pepper. I thought it would be easy to get a replacement since I was right across the street. When I got there, the drive thru was backed up with several cars so I decide to use the carhop service. I talked to a girl on the intercom first. I told her what had happened (still thinking they would just replace my drink.I still had the entire drink to show them)! Her first question was "do you have your receipt?" I told her no that I had thrown it in the trash. She told me to wait that she had to check on this. I waited for about 5 minutes and pushed the button again. This time a guy came on the intercom. I told him I was waiting for a replacement drink. Once again I was asked for my receipt. Once again, I explained I did not have it. I was then told I needed it because people try to get free drinks all the time. I reminded them that I had my cup that was full of regular Dr. Pepper. They finally agreed to replace it. I thought this nightmare was finally over, but it wasn't. Here comes a guy to my car with a regular size Diet Dr. Pepper. I showed him my cup and said that is not what I paid for. I told him I did not want it. He just walked away and did not bother to bring me the correct size. I then pulled away from the stall because I was so tired of dealing with these people who were treating me like I was trying to steal a drink from them. I decided not to leave before I did a survey on my service. I pushed the button again and asked for a survey to complete in regards to my service. I was told they could not get me one. That is was probably on my receipt!!!! Finally, a manager named Dominique brought my drink to me and told me he was the person I had been speaking to. I will never return to that Sonic. There are a bunch of idiots working there. Trust me, I do not need to steal a Rt. 44 Diet Dr. Pepper. I have a refrigerator full of...

Used to love Sonic the food was always fresh and hot. My last visit to Sonic was the worst experience I had ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. I ordered two number three's with no sauces and I want it fresh potato french fries and tater tots. Had to wait in line for a while but that was okay got up to the window they gave me my food I started to drive off and my grandson checked the food and the order was wrong it was cheeseburgers I ordered double bacon cheeseburgers. So I took it back around and gave him the food and they could not understand what a number 3 was they were so confused of what I was ordering. They took it back I had to wait probably 20 more minutes in line and get up to the window then they handed me the food and it had no bacon on it so once again I had to give it back to them and tell them there was no bacon. So I sat there for a while longer and then I told him I want it fresh fries and fresh tater tots because my order was meant to be fresh and hot and I had been waiting so long for the burgers which I never received and finally the manager came up and I told him what was going on he took a bite of one of the french fries or tater tots and looked at me like what's wrong with them and then a worker standing behind him said why should we give you anything else it cost us money well let me tell you I spent so much time at that drive-thru getting the wrong food they should have gave me my food I don't ask for nothing free I just want what I ordered if it's extra I'll pay extra it doesn't matter. But to be talked down to from a kid standing in the background that didn't know what a number 3 was really upset me I just asked the manager please just give me back my money I was tired of waiting not getting what I asked for. I did get the shake which was watery so thin so it's going to be a while before I go back there and it's sad because I really loved Sonic. This Sonic was on Main Street and Hamilton Ohio 45013 everybody please...

So we stop in for 4 beverages... 1- 32 ounce Sweet Tea 1- 44 ounce Diet Coke 1- 44 ounce Sprite 1- strawberry/apricot red bull slush.

4 employees were visible: 1- sitting on a table, with her phone propped up, watching her phone. 1- taking selfies and chewing on her nails. 1- young guy with curly hair just laughing and laughing. 1- the young lady at the window. She didn't give me a receipt. And only handed me 3 drinks. I asked for the sweet tea and she walked away and brought me a 32 ounce sweet tea.

When we got to our friends house, we had a 44 ounce sweet tea instead of Diet Coke. My diabetic friend was quite surprised with the tea!

My observation is this: don't let teenagers run the entire place without some sort of management supervision.

I personally believe they may have just smoked weed...the eyes...and laughter...and the smell...call it a hunch!

Oh! And on a side note, when my boyfriend held up his phone, everybody started staring at us...and the selfie girl and window girl walked into the back, where we couldn't see (them crapping their pants)...and window girl was really kinda rude: well, NOT kinda...
