This is why I don't like fast food places. I was asked to pick up a specific order for 4 people. The order was 3 ways and 4 ways of different sizes. I proceeded through the drive through and started the order with a super 4 way. The man was very much distracted and not paying attention. I had to explain several times, and I hate repeating myself. It tells me immediately that you're not listening to me. Finally a woman takes over the speaker and tells me not to be rude. Bless your heart, southern women don't get rude, we get loud and truthful, and I was in no way shape or form rude to the man whom I told my order to six times (no exaggeration, six times). I don't acknowledge the girl's rude comment and she said, "I have 2 cheese coneys." At not point in my six times of repeating my order did I say anything about cheese coneys. I wanted a super 4 way, a regular 4 way, a regular 3 way, and a kids 3 way. I ask if they can hear me because this all seems unreal and the speaker has to be broken. No, because I hear them goofing off suddenly. So my assumption was correct, they were never paying attention to begin with. I'm from South Carolina, we don't act like that there and we certainly don't yell at people through the drive thru. Repeated my order SIX times. Ended up pulling out, called my family, and told them they could pick from some other place because this place sure isn't worth the money when they make goofing off a priority over listening to your order. Ended up spending $50 at Skyline, and they heard my order...
Read moreI won't and don't eat here. It's not worth my money for what I get.
Don't feel bad. A lot of places get this treatment from me. I think they are all ???'s and I can cares less since they can care less.
I'm a different kind, I don't allow myself to let others influence how I feel, think or what I will pay for something. Someone says it's worth it and I say, no it isn't, period. No one tells me, what I am going to pay for something if I insist, it isn't worth it. This is just one of those, it's only food and don't care about the name or flavor. I'm not paying that for what I am going to get. I will find something else to eat that's more filling for less. Example: 2 tiny cheese coneys for $6.00 (not at all filling) or 2 Mcchicken's for $2.00. I'll take the Mcchicken's or I'll run to the store. Same goes for those little ripoff White Castle's. Don't want none. I can go on and on. If I had money to throw away then maybe. I can almost say, I've never spent my time there but, when others have paid for it. Well. And I don't care what others think about this. This one of those things I hate about the internet. Like I want to sit here and put in the time and effort to want to explain and type this for whomever, about anything and everything. Now, are you happy now. You got your response? I knew, I shouldn't have let stinking Google influence me into a review. I'm not trying to live in the internet. I just want away from all the sh#t that it...
Read moreI've always favored Gold Star over Skyline in every product and I expected that nothing had changed over the years as I hadn't been in a very long time. The atmosphere was rather dated, and the tables are very small. But I went with my dad just like we used to do when I was a kid and it was perfect for that. He got chili spaghetti and a chili cheese coney, and I got the chili mac and cheese. The waiter was really nice and laid back. Normally when I get my food, I ask for plastic cutlery because the silverware is dirty, but this wasn't the case; everything was clean and free of water spots. I began eating and realized how much I loved Gold Star until I crunched down on something hard. I spit it out and find something on the napkin. I'm not sure what it was. I was able to split it in half, so it wasn't bone. Maybe a hard gristle? I continued to eat my food despite my findings. My dad was very satisfied with his food. I think I was just unlucky, but I couldn't possibly give a better rating. If it weren't for that, I'd...
