One of my favorite Micro Breweries around. The staff are all down to earth, friendly folks who seem know a lot about the craft they serve. They put a lot of effort into making all of their customers feel satisfied and happy. They're really fantastic and I couldn't say enough good things about them. I've never had to wait very long to get my beer even when the line was almost out the door. They're just fast, friendly, and professional.

For being as small as they are they actually have quite the selection of brews. They have a pretty balanced selection ranging from light beers to Dark beers. My personal favorite (being someone who prefers Dark beer) is the Coffee stout called the "True West". The cool thing about this brew is that they actually use coffee from the local Hamilton coffee shop "True West" (hints the name).

Their outdoor seating area is a very comfortable and enjoyable environment to be in. The atmosphere here is always fantastic. When you visit Municipal Brew Works you get a real sense of community. As someone who was born and raised in Hamilton I see what they've done and are continuing to do for the city and I really appreciate it. I finally feel like the city has something to offer and I now have places to bring friends who are form out of state.

Every Tuesday night they have a game called "Singo". It's basically bingo but with songs. I've never won at "Singo", but I've always enjoyed playing! They also have a lot of live music, usually on Friday nights, I believe. Most nights they have a different food truck serving food and so far I've not been disappointed with any of the vendors they've had visit.

Municipal Brew Works and fine establishment that is well managed and very well staffed. It's a family friendly environment and the perfect place spend time with old friends, meet new people, or just unwind and relax after...

I like good, craft beer and I live in Hamilton. For a long time I couldn't enjoy both until now. When I first heard we were getting a micro brew I was cautiously optimistic, thinking it might be cool but the beer might suck...well, it is cool and the beer DEFINITELY doesn't suck. To be honest, the guys at MBW are crafting some really great tasting beer. I used to be a strictly IPA guy, but the dualest stout they put out, as well as the True West porter have been a pleasure and a joy. Not to mention their red ale! Last time I was in there they had I think 8 beers on tap. I'd put a pint next to any brewery in town or out (and I've had alot of out of town micro brews) and MBW would compete or...

This brewery single handedly helped revitalize the city of Hamilton! An intimate location with different food trucks every day and the company is half family operated and the staff as a whole have been making brews for years.

This may be a new brewhouse, but these people are experienced and know how to make quality beer and a large variety of them. From a blonde ale to a masculine dark stout they cover the rest of the colors in between. Come and try a sampler of all their beers and decide for yourself! You will not be disappointed and will want to come back to get away from the world and your troubles.

Take a couple hours out of your evening and experience what Municipal Brew Works...

I was passing thru Hamilton OH and found this place tucked downtown. Cool industrial atmosphere with great outdoor seating. Indoor seating a bit tight and it seemed a bit cluttered, so we sat outdoors. Lots of beer choices, so I got a flight. Approachable Blonde and Orange Agave Blonde were flavorful, but a little hoppy. Midnight Cut chocolate porter was one of the best porters I've had. Spring Fling Lemongrass Kolsch was excellent, and refreshing. They have their own small parking lot, and off street parking nearby. Food is food truck only. There was a BBQ grill one there but didn't try. Staff was friendly and helpful. A lot of potential here. Want to try again.

Municipal is located on the Great Miami River in downtown Hamilton. I'm not usually in the area, so I decided to stop while passing by. The interior bar is fairly small, so in the colder months, it is probably a little small, but in the warmer months, a garage door opens to a very large patio. They had a food truck here on the day I was here, but didn't get anything. All of the beers were pretty decent. They had an Anniversary double IPA on tap that has lost a bit of bitterness, but aside from that, I was pleased with the 8 different beers I tried. I would recommend if you are in the area.

We cane here on a hot Saturday afternoon. This brewery has been on our radar for quite some time. The beers were amazing ! I got a red ale which was perfection and a Mexican style beer which was superb. There was plenty of seating outside and there was seating under a tree with plenty of shade. Cousins Maine Lobster was there that day and the food was delicious. Perfect companion with our beers. Service was awesome and the employees were helpful in recommendations. We will definitely return and try more beers.
