Best chicken around, at least in my opinion. But, 2 of the times I went there; the first time the guy at the cash register didn't know what he was doing (I think he was autistic which is fine they work with people with disabilities which I find to be great) and I say he didn't know what he was doing because as I wasn't paying attention he gave me back the money I paid and the change so I walked out not knowing I had more money then when I went in. I know, this doesn't sound like a problem for customers (lol) but it's bad for business. Another time they got my order wrong and gave me the order plus my order which had to have been much more than I paid. As an occasional customer, I don't have any problems. But from a business perspective, if they do this a lot (who knows) it's not good for business and with it being so close and a good option I'd hate for it to end up closing over poor decision making. Stick people with register experience on the register and don't rush the crew like one of the managers (African American male, heavy set) cause then its more likely they will mess the order up. And when I say he was rushing, he was being very rude to his staff. I actually felt bad because I know they work with mentally disabled individuals, they don't need to be yelled at and rushed. I used to work fast food so I know you're timed, but when working with people that can't necessarily perform like others they shouldn't have a time system. When I got the wrong order and they let me keep it plus my actual order, they only needed like a minute or less to get my order done. They're method of cooking is fast so there's no need to be as rude as that manager. I haven't went back since mainly cause how he was treating others, also because I don't want to feel like I'm at taco bell where I know something or another is gonna be wrong. (Either wrong food or wrong change) if you pay with a card (and be careful cause this is hamilton and fast food workers on register have been known to take pictures of your card. Although to be fair i don't recall an incident like that happening here) just be careful and keep your eyes on your card. Can't be too careful these days. I'd like to give 5 stars but between that manager and my personal experience I have to give 3, if it wasn't for that I'd give 5 cause let's face it, along with their sauce it's one of the best chicken places...
Read moreI just wanted to take the time to thank the employees and manager at this Canes location. I apologize for not getting your names! But they were so helpful tonight on 6/13/25 (and every other time we have Canes lol). My child has Celiac disease, and there are very few fast food places she can safely eat. It’s not a 100% safe, but they’ve always accommodated our requests to make it as safe as possible for her to have yummy fries. Tonight we had a snafu where my bread and my child’s fries were put in the same container after requesting they remain separate. I didn’t realize until I got home with the food. I went back and they very kindly remade my whole order and the manager did it himself to ensure everything was correct. I don’t want to be difficult ever, so their care and service was so incredibly appreciated, and the food was delicious. Thank you again to the associate with the pretty pinky purple hair and the kind manager who helped. I’m sorry again I didn’t get your...
Read moreIf you don’t want to read the full review, just know I will not return to this location due to poor and slow service
Last time I went to this location, they didn’t give me the extra sauces I paid for (on my receipt). This time, I just waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. Cars behind me were pulling out and leaving the line because Canes was so slow. It was easy to see why they were so slow when I got to the pickup window. The longer brown haired male teenager was talking and joking with a coworker rather than working. He gave me my food, forgot my drink, and shut the window. A few minutes later he reopened it and asked if I needed anything else. I responded, “My drink.” He then shut the window, I waited a few more minutes, and a different employee brought me my drink. It appeared that he was scared to come back to the window since he forgot my drink. Not going back to that location even...
