First, I CALLED this CHILI's restaurant located on Hwy 190 in Hammond, La......to inquire about items & ask prices (which were not listed on many items on their website). I spoke to 1st man who wasn't listening to me so I kept having to repeat questions then he puts me on hold....then hung up on our call while waiting several minutes to no avail. I called them again only to hv the same man mixing up what I'm saying and I'm still not getting the order completed with him again then placed back on hold, then hung up after waiting again. Third time I called back AGAIN, but this time I asked for a manager and then manager was now on the phone with me and so I explained I'm disabled, not mobile and cannot walk inside and that I wanted to give my order and I explained that I have been sitting in my auto outside by their door but that their staff keeps putting me on hold then disconnects the calls but also was not taking my order correctly then put me back on hold. I explained to the manager that I've never dined- inside or ordered at any Chili's restaurant before and I asked if he could please tell me prices and meat entrees options, sides, etc... Manager took my order..."BBQ BRISKET & 2 sides of Mashed Potatoes" and told me the price. I agreed and manager explained he'll be outside to bring it to me curbside in a few minutes. I waited exactly 36 minutes and had to call them and asked for the same male Manager in hopes he'd remember our call, what I ordered and realize that no one ever brought me my order and I explained to him that I'm still outside sitting in my auto. Manager told me he normally does not bring orders outside to curbside AND I EXPLAINED that he NEVER told me that before taking my order and on either of my 3 phone calls AND I EMPHASIZED that I was literally sitting still sitting in my SUV RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FRONT DOOR ENTRANCE where all the parking lot SIGNS tell all customer's that these parking spaces are designated for "TO GO & PICK UP ORDERS" to be picked up curbside and I REMINDED HIM that he told me when I ordered that he'd walk outside to bring me my order..... LONG STORY SHORT.....the male manager bring outside after 40+minutes me sitting outside in my SUV waiting AND hands me a clear container bowl I could see had plenty of mashed potatoes in it but as I described to him = ONLY 2 cereal size spoons of stringed brisket little tiny PIECE'S And I opened it and asked the manager "WHERE IS THE MEAT "BRISKET" I ORDER that we discussed in detail on phone about and he told me that's the portion. I told him but I ordered a whole dinner portion for an adult not a child (I was thinking it was a mistake??), but the manager told me that is the right amount and I was stunned for a moment but I explained it is no more than 2 cereal spoons worth sizes of meat not even a cooking spoon amount nor any kind of portion that I've ever seen before. HE DID NOT CARE and rudely told me that he NORMALLY DOES NOT SERVE CURBSIDE TO CUSTOMER'S....which I then told him YOUR SIGN'S ON THE POLES IN FRONT OF MY SUV parking space reads and tells me and him different and I reminded him once more that he NEVER told me that when he took my order on the phone. HE TOLD ME HE HAS NEVER EVER HAD A CUSTOMER COMPLAINT BEFORE UNTIL ME and ...I told him, " This is F'd up and YOU do have ONE NOW and I'm not buying that!" On that note....I drove down the hwy and ordered elsewhere and greceived a normal portion sizes food to go CURBSIDE....and most of all I was treated with RESPECT, instead of lies, blame and DENIAL that I received from the CHILI'S male Manager named "Tatum". Mr. TATUM....you hv my name and my phone number and are welcomed to call to APOLOGIZE or pass it to your superior's or corporate and let them call me......but not necessary BCS either way I would never GIVE MY MONEY TO A PLACE WHERE I DO NOT FEEL WELCOMED or RESPECTED which you surely didn't care to be...

6/30/22 update
I paid a $5 tip for CAR SIDE PICK UP. Our order is supposed to be delivered to our car between 5:01 and 5:06. We arrived at 4:58 and checked in #4 By 5:15 we saw THREE orders picked up. At 5:18 my husband decided to go inside to sew what the hold up was. OUR ORDER WAS SITTING on the counter and the restaurant was EMPTY. How do you have a car side pick up when your employees do not wish to deliver the ALREADY PAID FOR AND TIPPED food. Needless to say the food sat sweating inside the boxes which made the burgers and southwest eggrolls SOGGY. Asked for mayo on the burgers which i received literally a barely visible Dot. The Chipotle chicken tenders were tough. Like biting into them I had to tug on them to break it apart. Sheesh...
2021 dine in-
I haven't been here in years. I will say I can't say anything really bad because it's a small town chillis and a cheap eat! The greeter was ok. She did her job 🤷🏾♀️ The restaurant was clean but could use a face lift (booth seat was ripped) Wait staff was ok. No one was unpleasant they just did their job. Food was fast and accurate! But also slightly under cooked. My mini burgers were a little pink inside. My southwest egg rolls were hot outside but soft to touch not crispy but also they were Luke warm inside which tells me they weren't all the way cooked.
My husband got the chicken fajitas which smelled amazing and tasted very good. I took my food home and cooked it the rest of the way. Which i minused a star.... it still was good food. Back in the day I would have expected more from chilis but it comes with the...
Read moreAverage Chili's (🌶️'s ®) atmosphere. The waiter took my wife's order, my head is in the menu, trying desperately to find anything that will be decent. She took the baby to the restroom. The next thing I know the waiter is asking me what she ordered. I told him I had no idea, that I was hip deep in the menu. He keeps asking me, "Was it this? Was it that?", on and on. No sweat. Pretty weird and it's kinda your job but okay. Then comes the "food". It was horrible even for Chili's. The salsa tasted like a bit of strained Pace mixed into a half cup of "Taco Bell ® Taco Sauce" like you buy (only once) in the grocery store. The bean and cheese dip was kinda cold and had some very weird and unusual flavor in it. We only drink water. Easy right? The water was brown. No thanks.
We paid and walked out.
We've decided that we won't be going back to Chili's again. Ever again.
Do you guys remember Chili's before they started doing the metal baskets? We used to love Chili's. Since they started doing the metal baskets the quality has been going down and down and down. Now it's inedible. We keep trying once or twice a year, just about long enough to forget how bad it was the last time. We won't try again. We just turned 40 and we just don't have time for the nonsense anymore. Time is getting short and not a second of it should be wasted trying something that disappoints more and more with every try.
Chili's, we had a lot of fun when we were younger. When you cared a lot more and you tried. I kept doing my part but you just kept letting go and shirking your responsibilities. I really miss the way things used to be but it's over now. I'll never be 20 again and you'll never be delicious again. Let's just go our separate ways. Now Chili's... Don't make a scene... It won't work... I won't be coming back... We both have to...
