Imagine going through the trouble to create a private google email account just so that you can rate the restaurant that you’re in, just to come to the realization that by the time this rating is over, you’re still going to be waiting on your food to be made.
Wow, where do I begin. Well since this is my first rating ever on google, I’m going to go ahead and make the best of it.
Bottom Line Up Front, this restaurant sucks. No other way to simply put it. People, the service is so bad that I wouldn’t even bring my own mother-in-law to eat here.
I mean it, the service is so bad that you probably have a better chance getting fed while holding an “I’m Hungry” sign around your neck while waiting on a busy intersection faster than you would placing an order with one their servers; that is, if you can even find one while you’re there.
The whole time I was wondering why I was sitting in a partially empty restaurant with 4 servers, 2 bartenders, and 1 host but yet not one of them acknowledged my existence 12 minutes into my stay; It felt like being last-pick in elementary school kickball all over again.
I guess the only good thing about today has been that I can actually enjoy a few YouTube videos while I wait another 20 minutes for my food to get done. But I digress, If the servers are this hard to find, then I’m not even going to attempt to find a manager; I’ll be here all day.
Look, this is the second time this has happened to me here. The last time I made the mistake to show up after a saints game. A mistake only amplified by the blonde female bartender serving me; who’s only goal in life was to get out of dodge as fast as she could. But that’s another story. For another rating. At another time.
Well, my food finally came out. I appreciate the nearly 35 minute wait that I’m sure these naked wings and house salad required. I told myself I wouldn’t come back here last time, but it’s Louisiana and there isn’t much to eat around here late at night. Lesson learned I guess, that’s what I get for not grocery shopping this morning.
Moral of the story. Only come on game days, don’t show up alone, don’t sit at the bar, and bring something to read.
I appreciate everything that you guys do here at Buffalo Wild Wings in Hammond and your efforts to save me money by deterring me from spending my hard-earned-cash on restaurant costs this year. My...
Read moreI visited this location on Sunday after the 49ers vs. Saints. When I walked in there were very few patrons. The staff were all huddled together laughing and talking. We were a party of four. We had to wait until they finished their convo to be seated. We ordered a 20 pc. Wing and mozzarella sticks. The other couple ordered 5 piece wings, quesadilla and a burger. When the order arrived there were only 15 wings on my order. The other couple had 10 wings. We told our waitress that the order was inaccurate. She proceeds to argue that she didn’t make a mistake. I explained that we didn’t need the extra wings. No biggie. The other couple did not want to pay for the extra so they attempted to send the addl. 5 back. She wouldn’t allow it. She then leaves our table and never returns. While we are trying to enjoy the food the manager approaches the table. We were a little shocked because we didn’t request one. We thought that it was good she was gonna be proactive, apologize for the inconvenience etc. She did the exact opposite. She stated that the waitress became so upset that she went in the the back and started to cry. She stated that the waitress became upset that we accused her of getting the order wrong. She continues on to try and defend the mistake and the poor customer service that was being shown. The manager claimed her name was Levita or something similar to that. No name tag displayed. No courtesy was shown, no apology given. She treated us as if we were trouble makers and was ready for us to leave. None of us ever said anything mean or raised our voices. We only stated a fact about the order. I would advise anyone who is thinking about supporting that location to think twice. There level of customer service is less that one star and the management team is Horrible! I would avoid it at all cost. Will also reach out to corporate. The manager and staff needs hospitality/customer service training ASAP! The food was ok, not fresh... The wings temperature were warm almost cool, and the mozzarella sticks were warm as well. I will never dine there again, that’s unfortunate because I love wings and I’m in...
Read moreIf I could write a review without giving it one star..I definitely would with this place. 1st. The waitress (with the two color afro puffs) didn't even greet us nor give us her name. She came to us and said "What do you want to drink"..And when I said "Hello"..I seemed to annoyed her. She came back with our drinks without straws and went to talk to another table for about 5/10mins We had to watch her laugh and have full conversation with this table before I got her attention to bring us some straws. When she came back with the straws, she just tossed them on the table. When she took our order...She kept getting every order wrong and I had to keep repeating myself.
2nd. Once we got the order (after waiting 30mins) the entire order was cold. I tried to find the waitress to let her know this..And we couldn't even find her. The restaurant was practically empty so there was no way we couldn't find her. But what was funny was she came to the table in less than 5mins with the check. I was done and I decided to go to the counter myself to get my own to go plates etc. When I did that..That's when the waitress wanted to "Act" like she was doing her job. This place is the worst. The service is absolutely horrible and the food was cold. There wasn't enough people in this restaurant for the service to be so slow.I can see why this restaurant was empty. Will definitely not...
