I order takeout here quite often, it fits well into my diet & the food has always been good. I am honestly beyond disappointed at my last experience. I called to order a vegetable stir fry with no bok choy add extra broccoli and asparagus, and add chicken and shrimp. I was told 10-15 minutes - I waited 30+ … which is not the biggest issue. I then looked at my stir fry when I got in the car and didn’t see any chicken and saw what I thought was bok choy. I walked back in, and I had to grab someone to help me after standing there for 5 minutes. I explained what happened and she proceeded to get a plastic fork and LITERALLY pick through my food … she told me it was Chinese broccoli not bok choy (my mistake they look very similar) and then she proceeded to find 2 whopping pieces of chicken all the way in the bottom. I ordered and paid for extra broccoli and asparagus but got maybe 3 pieces of each and they are both undercooked. To top it all off, she then asked me if this looks like what I normally order and when I told her it isn’t up to par with the normal dish/quantity…she told me I ordered the wrong item. I guess where it throws me off is…offer to fix it, I wasn’t asking for my money back just wanted to enjoy my meal that I have been thinking about...

What a find! The food here is exquisite! This was my first time having Thai and I was not disappointed!

Their portion sizes are perfect (plenty large enough to satisfy, but not oversized to the point of being wasteful). Their seafood was phenomenal with the largest shrimp I've ever had.

They have spice levels for everyone (0 to ten, with 2 to 3 being considered "medium" so idk what the heck "ten" would be. Pure capsaicin, maybe 😉)

We tried their banana fritters for dessert (also amazing, as was the ice cream they came with)

The decor, oh, my gosh! So charming and warm! Flower vases on every table and those little oil candles. So cute! And the wait staff were quite friendly and knew their stuff. Our waiter even helped my wife with her meal choice.

Now let's talk about price. For two people (obviously my wife and I) our bill was $66. That included individual appetizers, 2 entrees, and we shared the dessert because we were getting full. Not the cheapest meal of my life, but right up there with the best-value meals I've ever had. I take value very seriously so I consider this a huge compliment.

Atmosphere, decor, value, taste, friendliness. This establishment is where it's at!

10/10 will be coming back...

There are several reasons I’m giving Chalit’s 5 stars. The restaurant location is convenient as it is located right off the highway. The fact that it is BYOB is another big draw for me because that makes it so much more affordable! My girlfriends love mixing the Thai tea with a little Tito’s (dangerous bc it’s too good). The pad Thai is gluten free & you wouldn’t know it by the taste. I like my pad Thai a little spicy and then I pair it with yellow curry and mix the two together, it’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I also really appreciate the fact that there are so many options if you have food allergies. The ambiance is chill and low key so I feel comfortable stopping by in my gym clothes. The crowd is eclectic and the service is always pretty good. The only criticism I have (and merely for the sake of being informational bc I love this spot) is there isn’t much protein in the meals (probably not even 4oz of protein) unless you ask for extra. Seriously ok with it since the food is consistently good but something to consider if you’re trying to hit macros lol. Also, make reservations! It can be hard to get a table. Hope this is helpful,...

Update: Based on owner's response, it appears that the owner doesn't know how to take a feedback. If you can't take feedback and improve, get out of customer centric business. Unfortunately for you, I come from a land of curry and I certainly don't need teachings on pallette. Nevertheless, your version of Thai waterfall is no where close to the real one. This is a nice place with great atmosphere and service. However, I felt the food is a bit mediocre. It's probably my fault that I didn't order typical thai curry or noodles. I went with one of those house specials "Thai waterfall" and it's probably the driest pork I ever had. It looks great but tastes really bad. Side salad is good though. I would recommend may be go for curries or fried rice or noodles. Soups are great as well.
