Jasmine Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Hampden Township

I’ve heard amazing things about Jasmine Chinese Kitchen, but I’ve never made it in to try the food until tonight. It’s everything people raved about and MORE. This Chinese food is the best I’ve had in PA and one of the top I’ve had anywhere!!! Best customer service too!! We ordered a ton of food and were shocked it was only $45 ($5 off automatically applied).

First and foremost - the bourbon chicken is SO GOOD. I used to get this all the time in Florida and haven’t found a place in PA that makes it the same way. This blows every other bourbon chicken I’ve had out of the water. See pics!! The egg fried rice is delicious and eggy. The combo meals are an insane deal since it’s a TON of chicken, rice, plus a soup of your choice, AND an egg roll or 2 spring rolls.

My husband’s go-to is shrimp lo mein, and this is his favorite he’s had. It is delicious and has crunchy bean sprouts in it. The lo mein sauce is so good, and the shrimp are fresh. The sesame chicken is another of our favorites, so we got that to try too. It smacks!! The egg drop soup was to die for. The crab rangoons were huge, and the sweet and sour sauce was great.

We didn’t wait long despite not calling ahead. The food is made fresh and with love, so give them grace with cook times. Be kind, be patient, and enjoy your amazing food from here.

Stopped in late yesterday afternoon to pick up some food for my Mom. She’s been going lately and especially loves their house special soup! I also ordered her the chicken chow mein lunch special plus two additional egg rolls. She insisted I stay with her to share and it was outstanding! We are originally from Long Island NY and after 20 years have yet to find Chinese food comparable to what we’re used to, and we’ve been to many different restaurants here in Pennsylvania. Also, owners and staff at these other places are far from friendly, but not here. My mother informed me during lunch that the owner “Jasmine” has been bringing her called in take-out orders out to the parking lot because of her mobility challenges. My immediate reaction was, I’m not surprised because I found the owner Jasmine of Jasmine Restaurant to be super friendly and outgoing and eager to share the history of her business. What a nice atmosphere staffed by nice people serving great food, and if I could I would add a 6th star for the extra step she takes to bring food out to my 91 year old Mom. Highly recommended...
