Pasta Loft Restaurant — Restaurant in Hampstead

First impression was that this place looks pretty rundown inside. Went there for dinner last Sunday. Ordered prime rib cooked rare. The waitress came back and said that the prime rib was leftover from Saturday and they couldn't serve it rare because it had to be regrilled (huh? serving leftover prime rib at $30). Told the waitress to forget it and to bring back the menus. I can tell she was perturbed when she came back. So my girlfriend and I ordered the 14 oz. New York Strip also rare. Well, we received two (2) different looking steaks, one flat and wide (not a strip steak) and the other more of the expected strip shape. However, it was questionable whether either was 14 oz. as advertised on the menu. The big problem was that mine was cooked well done and hers medium (huh? at $27 each and they only give you one side). This place is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. I forewarn anyone to find another location to eat if you're out in the Hampstead, NH area. The food quality at the Pasta Loft is great. I've consistently found that they cook the steak to my liking and have great pizza as well. Everything is delicious. No problems there. However, the staff seems a little off their game at times. Several times it has happened that when I go out for a date there, and we order two different things, one order comes out 10 or 15 minutes before the other. And it's not like one comes out super fast and the other average. It's like one comes out in 20 minutes and the other 35. It's a little slow compared to most places I've been. Also, several mistakes have been made on pizza toppings and my wife has had to send back pizzas before because they forgot toppings. One time I ordered a steak tip salad and although they gave a good amount of steak tips, they really skimped out on the greens. So it's not like I would never go back. I actually still look forward to going there because the food is delicious, but I just have come to expect that it's going to be slow and I may have to ask for something they forgot. I think they still have potential to step up their game though. They could easily get a 5 star review if that...

My whole experience was terrible from the moment me and my family walked in we were greeted by a very grumpy waitress who was not happy to see us she had a complete attitude the whole time she brought us to the table. So we ordered our drinks and we literally had not even three minute to look at the menu before she came back and was pressing us to order our food so we ordered very quickly and we got the food not even five minutes later from ordering it the food came back awful and terrible the noodles were extremely over cooked the food was bland, my daughters chicken tenders were so burnt to the point where they were NOT edible. nothing was edible that we ordered! it was very disappointing and I will never go back there again ! I do not recommend anyone eating there. I asked to speak to the owner and he refused to come to the table he only comped us five dollars off of our $75 order which is completely unreasonable Since we could not eat anything that came to our table!
