America’s Best Wings — Restaurant in Hampton

A year ago I gave this location a 5 star rating. Per the food was great food and well seasoned and sauce was never extra. In the last month I've been twice and now it's under new management.

THE WINGS TASTE LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN COOKED IN OLD GREASE.

Ordering a wing box which comes with fries and a drink apparently does not come with mambo sauce anymore. Which is fine but don't Make it seem as if your giving it to me for free "this time" if it cost .50 or .57 with tax say that as well have it listed on the display case per new management. I'm a buisness owner and the number 1 reason businesses fail is bc of lack of communication and customer service. I literally tried to get the lady at the counter to understand where I was coming from but the lack of caring or pretending to not understand was beyond frustrating. I paid the extra $1 bc it's the principal.

What makes it worse she stated you get free mambo sauce with 3 piece wings only. So bc I spent more money getting the combo it doesn't come with it? Make it make sense. I wish I knew where the old management was at cause I would definitely follow them if there...

We placed an order last night for some wings and were not happy with the results. I arrived to pick the order up and the cashier collected the payment and went to the back. Before that another worker came up and said that the bag that was on the counter was mine. I asked 3 times if he was sure this was my order and he said yes. So I made my drinks and took the bag home. After I got home opened the bag and realized it wasn't mine. I called back and they said to bring the food back because they did give us the wrong order. Now get this, I wanted to make sure they threw the food away so I took out one wing. When I, returned we asked if they were going to throw the food away and they said NO it's still good we are going to give it back out. My mouth fell open so if you ordered hot lemon pepper wings, fried shrimp, and it was one more item then sorry to say your food was contaminated. I placed an order through DoorDash for 20 wings. Plus paid the extra fee for all flats. my food arrive with the wrong sauce. There was also drums and not all flats as ordered and paid for. When I called the restaurant to let them know my order was wrong, the guy who answered was rude and insisted that my order was correct and that he packed it himself. I told him it was not and offered to bring the wings and the receipt showing what I ordered to the restaurant so that they can correct it. The guy refused and rudely told me to contact DoorDash. DoorDash was great and refunded my order quickly.
