The crew of the CVN 77 USS George H.W Bush and I graciously thanks you for a job well done on our order!

Background on our order: I made a call to multiple framing shops to inquire about a large order request, I had Over 40 huge 11x17 photos that needed to be framed for an event. After hearing what I needed and my deadline, ever other frame shop turned down my order, not one of them were willing to take on the challenge!

Then I contacted Charles of Peninsula Custom Framing and Gallery, I took the tone of desperation out of my voice before making the call. Charles answered my call and quickly reassured me that my job would be challenging but he being a Navy Veteran was willing and ready to take on the job and expedite the order!

I was so greatfull for his professional demeanor and his can do attitude was a joy to work with, he invited me and my over 40 pictures to his Shop the very next day! I showed up and he immediately began using his skill and craftsmanship to take me on a verbal journey of his plans for each picture, we shook hands at the completion of our conversation as he immediately began working on my order.

I was txt messaged that evening with updates on my order from Charles, the txt included multiple completed framings! I later learned that Charles stayed several hours after closing to make progress on my order!

Suffice it to say my order was completed in under 24 hours! This was beyond my expectations of what I wanted, Charles has exceeded all my deadline by 2 days giving me ample time for the hanging and arranging of 40+ framed photographs and documents!

I’ve honestly been hard pressed to find business men and women who display the level of ownership, stamina, and dedication to their work here in Hampton Roads, but Charles has truly set the bar so high and any local competitors should know

I am only rating this establishment a 5 because 10 isn't an option. I trusted Charles with my husbands newly acquired Masters Degree. I walked in and had no idea what I wanted or what I was looking to do. First off he congratulated my husband (who wasn't with me) on his accomplishments. From there he showed me many options that we could go with. He then said he could go on the schools website and grab their exact colors to match the diploma perfectly. Boy did he deliver. He quoted me that it would be ready for pick up on Friday ( I dropped off on.a Tuesday). Well on Thursday, I received a surprise text stated that the work was done and he sent me photos of the final product. I could tell from the picture how amazing it was. I told him that I would pick it up the following morning. I had completely forgot that I had a catering gig on Friday so I did not come by on Friday morning. I was amazed and very appreciative when I received a text around 1pm from Charles saying, "hey I hope everything is okay ". Now I feel like I need to add the reason that I was impressed by this. I had already paid for the work on Tuesday so it wasn't like he was chasing me down to take my money. He sent the message simply because he was truly concerned. I explained that I had a gig that I had forgotten about but I would be there soon. When I went to pick up it up, he had some great music playing and we started talking about music. He even made a great recommendation that I came home and ordered on amazon. All in all, this was a great experience and I will be going to Charles for all my future framing needs. I purchased a very large print (64x48) and in my mind I had confidence that I would come to Charles for framing since he had done an excellent job for me in the past stretching a large canvas...

Everything about Charles and his work is screams Quality and Best. He is a very respectful and a pleasant gentleman. When I took the print to his shop, (as you would expect him) He was remarkably professional. He presented to me all the options and even suggested all different ways we could do to keep the cost for framing as low as possible. He even let me take as much time as I needed to think with regards to the option the I would take for framing materials that I was going to use. He was more than fair in pricing and work diligently and quickly. The final product is absolutely breathtaking. Clean work, finest quality with superb precision.

Better yet, because the print was so large, it wouldn't fit in my car and I pointed this out to Charles that I would have to rent a U-Haul Pick Up truck to bring it home, guess what he said to me, "I have a truck and I will be glad to bring it to your house with no cost" I was like so delighted by this gesture. And He surely brought my framed piece to my place (and if not enough) when he brought it home, he had covered it in blankets for care and safety.... This is the kind of man Charles is, Truly Amazing !!!
