Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Hampton

Edit: It's been 4 years since I first posted this review and I'll be honest, it has actually gotten much worse. I really can't recommend going here over anywhere else. If you are in Newport News, the ones up that way are much better. I would skip this one though. You will not go to this location and get a pizza less than an hour old unless you ask them to make you a fresh one and even then, it won't be good quality. I have to assume there is no corporate quality control or anything, there must not be an amount of time that a pizza sits unsold before they throw it out. You can go to 711 down the street and get a fresher piece of pizza out of their warmer than you can here at a literal pizza place.

Original review: Of the pizza chains, Little Caesars is tied for my favorite. My main issue here is that 50% of the time I go to this location, the Hot N' Ready I get is very obviously old. Too old. Like: probably should have just been tossed, old. The staff, I think, are aware of this because they never open the box to show you before you pay and leave like other locations do (and like this one used to).

Maybe a petty complaint, since ultimately the product I usually get (Hot N' Ready) IS sitting in a warmer, that's the whole point. Take that for what you will. However, I still think some level of quality is necessary so it...

Words of wisdom, if you’re coming to this restaurant and you are not here 30 minutes from closing time you will not get your food! Unfortunately, I did not think to take pictures until after the fact, but there were at least 10 to 12 people who were unable to get their food this evening from this little Caesars location, including myself some who may have already ordered ahead of time others who were there to pay and order, but we’re unable to do so, because the staff members lock the doors and hide in the back. Nobody came up front to acknowledge anyone, and at the time they closed, you could see the person through the side window, grab all the food that was for pick up and take them to the back another employee was seen walking out the back door with food taking it to a car that was parked on the side of the building which I have a picture of. Ick, icky, ick! I would normally rather leave no review instead of a bad review. But this had to be done. The inside of this store is absolutely filthy. I am not a neat freak by any means. But this was just terrible! Crumbs, dust, pepperoni and sausage pices and debris all over the counter, plastic cough shield, floors, inside and outside the pick up portal, inside the dip cup shelf, and other places. I tried to wipe a bit off of the portal keypad with my finger to see if it was accumulation from the day or over time.... yeah nope! It was hardened and crusted over with buildup. It was disgusting. Inside the portal was worse, it had burned food like at the bottom of your toaster oven. Wish i had gotten pictures of the dirt. Service was polite and helpful but very disorganized lacking leadership and direction. They were very behind and in a rush to get orders filed, so they gave myself and another customer undercooked food! The dough on the cheese bread was raw, but at least the cheese was melted. Would NOT recommend! Contacting corporate and the Health Department. This is not ok. Do better...
